Been in Atlanta for 5 days and this is by far the best food we have had! Great staff and excellent live band. Make a reservation for best seats. However, if they don't have a reservation available there are still tables available so don't let that detour you from coming here.

Wonderful food AND music venue after 7pm. It is a juke joint, great R&B, and the food is southern/soul delicious. I had the gumbo, shrimp and grits, and bread pudding. The drinks were very good! Food service very slow as they seemed understaffed. Really enjoyed the experience

I’m not sure what they are putting in their drinks. My negroni looked water down and tasted like rubbing alcohol. I they thought the bartender was inexperienced so I ordered bullet bourbon on the rocks and got another water down drink that tasted like poison. Had one sip of each drink and was concerned. My throat burned my head hurt and I felt sick.

The music/live entertainment is great! However, the food is lacking. Considering this is the south, the food is a mess. It does not have seasoning - better options can be found elsewhere. Moreover, our server was very flustered and overwhelmed.I would recommend this place for the live entertainment and drinks.Finally, this place is expensive considering….
Good value for the most part with prices and the entertainment creates a perfect atmosphere while still talking in the lounge area. Food is AMAZING. Mac n cheese has a sweet flavor. Different from most but still good. Just be ready for that. Service is very good. Everyone was really nice and it felt welcoming to be there. Had the Southern Starter - Delicious but could skip that next time for the portion. Didn't know what to expect. Juke Joint Fried Chicken...this fried chicken. I would slap your grandma for this chicken. If you don't think it is the best then I want to try what you think is. Collards are very good too!

Just had dinner and the food was so good. We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, fried chicken and the fish/grits. Our server, LaKendra, was so sweet and attentive. To top off the night, the live band was jamming. We will definitely go back again.
