Went to The Buttery recently after reading their menu many times. Looked at everything in the store before deciding it wasn’t a great idea to take one of everything, but should come back and just try a few things at a time. I purchased a chicken pot pie, frozen cookie dough, coronation chicken salad, two dog biscuits, and a slice of loaf cake. This is a small bakery that I have been frequenting for the past few months. I really like their bagels, english muffins and the parisian sandwiches. A few days ago I bought a loaf of sourdough bread. When I got home, I saw that the date on the bag was 4 days prior. I called the store and they clarified that it's not guaranteed that the bread was baked that day, and I can always request a fresher loaf. What a nice group of people I encountered serving the best gourmet items and artisan cheeses. Such an Atlanta treasure! Plus the fried chicken is sent from heaven, just saying…
