The Local Tavern is a lowkey spot with a nice ambiance, serving typical tavern food that is good and reasonably priced. The menu is varied, featuring dishes like a thick, juicy pork chop with mashed potatoes, pulled pork tacos, the 007 burger, grouper tacos, chicken spring rolls, bang bang shrimp, wings, and a kids burger. For dessert, the bread pudding and the cheesecake empanadas, including a strawberry cheesecake empanada, are popular and often served with ice cream.
