Been going here awhile and the food quality and service have severely gone down hill. Rice is undercooked and so hard I almost chipped a tooth. Flies hanging around the sauces and a brunette girl who served us had the worst attitude. It’s called “upbeet” not “bring me down”.

Missed multiple custom details of our uber eats order. Yall need more attention to detail. $15 worth missing from a $150 order. Not ordering again.

This was my 1st time going and just WOW!! It was awesome!! I didn't eat there and took it back with me to Augusta. I took it with me to work for lunch. I can't wait to go back to ATL so I can go back!

GREAT food. Bit expensive, but splitting it to 2+ meals is 100% a good move.

This is my go to spot for a healthy lunch. They use organic grains, fruits, and vegetables, plus they have wild-caught seafood options.

The process for ordering bowls can be somewhat difficult. I avoid showing up around noon because ordering is not streamlined, and you can wait 15 minutes or more even if there are only a handful of customers in front of you. Often, priority is placed on online orders.

They have a parking lot, so parking is not too challenging considering it’s in Midtown.

Had the Curry Up bowl with coconut rice and it was delicious and filling. The roasted agave sweet potatoes were a highlight of this dish.

The food was great but thoroughly look at the menu before you get there. There were a lot of options. I didn’t expect the person making the food to hold my hand but she seemed irritated with my questions. I felt rushed ordering. It also took awhile to get a parking spot. I had to just wait for someone to leave.

Ordered on: 4/29 pick-up
Order# 10843
Item: Guac it Out
Was missing the chicken, lime and cheese. I recieved a bowl that was only brown rice with black bean and some diced jalapeno. I could flip a table, this is so aggravating...

Review for Upbeet – April 28, 2025

I have been a loyal customer of Upbeet, dining there almost daily due to the exceptional food and outstanding service consistently provided by the staff. The team is usually friendly and professional, which has always made my visits enjoyable.

However, on April 28, 2025, during the lunch service, I encountered an unfortunate experience. A new female employee, who I hadn’t seen before, displayed a discourteous attitude from the moment she began preparing my order. Her demeanor was unwelcoming, and at the end of the service, she abruptly placed the sauce in a manner that felt disrespectful. This behavior was surprising and disappointing, especially considering the consistently high standards upheld by the rest of the team.

I want to emphasize that this review is not intended to harm the restaurant’s reputation. Upbeet remains a favorite of mine, and the overall quality of food and service is commendable. My intention is to provide constructive feedback about this isolated incident, hoping it will be addressed to ensure all customers continue to receive the excellent service that Upbeet is known for.

Great food but unfortunately most of the staff was occupied in preparing online orders. Line was super long, with periods where none of the in-person visitors were being served. Maybe placing online order is the best way to get food from here as they clearly don’t seem to prioritize in-person visitors.

Excellent healthy food option in the city! We built our own bowl with grilled chicken and shrimp and had the Peanut Butter Bliss smoothie bowl. They have a wide variety of toppings and sauces to choose from. Everything was fresh! After they add your sauce, they toss it for you so that everything is evenly coated. You order the bowls and smoothies at separate counters, which is quite efficient. They are also environmentally conscious, offering recyling and composting options, which is always a plus! It has a nice vibe and good music for all. It's definitely worth visiting again! Lastly, the ladies' bathroom was in good condition, but I didn't get that same report for the men's.

I’m really over walking in to places and standing there and no one even greets you. I’m literally standing right in front of the glass and it’s 2 people doing a call in order but not at any point anyone acknowledged my presence. Literally 7-8 min later someone finally comes from the back who is clearly new and starts my order. Now one of the 2 want to look over her shoulder and tell me to give me less rice when the HALF scoop was the least I could’ve gotten for the inconvenience. Then as she was making my bowl, they were out of limes. I just walked out because it’s starting to feel like it’s something every other time I’m here.

Good salad, great server. Guy had some great energy, singing and making jokes. Definitely made the meal!

Great food and smoothies HORRIBLE customer service! I like to get my protein smoothies from here because it’s a walkable location from my residence so it’s very convenient. Every time I walk in they ask are picking up or placing, I say placing and it’s like you get ignored after that. I asked the associate today is it better if I just lance it online and then pick it up because when I have walked in the past few times they walk off after I answer placing an order. The young girl today came up talking about short staffing and I look around sand state that I’m literally the only person here as she was filling up sauce cups…she then proceeds to say well we have other things we have to do as well and I totally get that but what does customer service have to do with being short staffed??? A simple “one moment and we will get your order” not just walking away without saying anything. Her attitude and responses was very short and smug. She definitely needs some more skills with communication because that was very unprofessional.
