I want to love this place so badly, but they miss the mark every visit. The jerk chicken, plantains, island burger and fries are great, but without fail, there is always something missing or off with the meal. Tonight’s Cobb salad with chicken was served to me missing the egg, cheese and salad dressing. When I asked about the missing ingredients, I was told the kitchen says they didn’t make any eggs that day. No apology. Nothing done about it. The waiter was less than attentive and had to be flagged down twice since he was spending time with another employee and eating during his shift. This place has so much potential I hope they can get it together before people like me stop giving it a chance.

Feel good atmosphere and loved the food and service! Thomas is awesome and so personable which makes you feel like you want to spend all day there. The plantain chips and queso is a delicious twist! My husband and I enjoyed the Cuban and guava cheesecake too! Cuban is one of, if not THE best, we’ve had. We have ventured all over the world and lived in different countries so we aren’t bluffing. We got the Grilled Red Snapper To-Go for my cousin and she said it was amazing! Seems like the type of place where anything you order will be tasty!

I had very high hopes from the photos of food I saw online, The service was good, even the presentation of the food looked good, but the taste was very underwhelming, more bold authentic flavors and seasoning are needed. Fresh corn is needed. Bold jerk flavor is needed. Fluffy flavorful rice is needed. My daughter said the Rasta Pasta was okay, but needed more flavor and a kick. A few adjustments, and this could be a decent food experience, I hate getting $60 worth of food and not being able to eat it.

I really enjoyed the food and drinks here! The Rum Punch was so good! Least favorite drink was the Key West Lemonade but I think that’s only because the lemonade came from the soda fountain which is always a little weird tasting. Parking is a little hard to find since it’s a shared lot, I would go earlier in the day for easier access. Overall I love this place as a nice brunch spot.

Guava ribs are outta this world - you won’t find anything like them ANYWHERE! Great patio, our 2 girls ran around no problem on a Thursday evening. Super nice folk. Amazing food!
