Visiting family in the area and told them to take us to their favorite spot...
We had the perch, fried okra, baked beans, fries, and lemon cake, everything was 💣.
I haven't had perch since I was a kid back in Indiana so it was nostalgic for my tastebuds😋
The fish was fried to perfection !!!

The young lady who helped us was kind and helpful.
This place is VERY SMALL; as are the booths...I strongly suggest getting...

I recently started back eating fish..and outside of homecooked their Flounder is the only fish I'll eat.. much better than JJs imo. Both ways fried or grilled is delicious. Also the baked beans and red beans and rice both hit. And you can't go wrong with that grape drank! Lol

Our saving grace on Christmas Eve! A lot of other restaurants were closed or had long waits on food from a short staffed kitchen. Ameen was not only open and fully staffed, but the food was cooled to order with large portions. Definitely recommend trying it out anytime. #SupportSmallBusiness
