“The service was great, the food was mostly great. The beef tenderloin platter was a disappointment. It was overcooked and difficult to chew. This is most likely due to there being only one fellow in there doing everything. Cooking, serving, taking orders. Everything else was a 9+ out of 10. I'm glad a place like this exists in Dacula.Parking: The parking lot is very small and tight. If you have a large pickup truck, consider taking the wife's compact.”

“In a couple of words Cotton Calf was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I went on a date night. We had the calamari, signature cocktails, chopped salad, Delmonico ribeye, truffle fries, and the bread pudding for dessert. We got to sit at I guess, what would be considered a chef's table directly across from the kitchen facing the kitchen so that we could see the staff and all the food being prepared which was really interesting and entertaining. Everyone was extremely professional and courteous, the ambiance was on point for a date night and we were very well attended to without our server being overbearing. Everything that we had food-wise was perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. The drinks were well poured and delivered above and beyond expectations. This was our second time going and we had the same experience the first time we went. The bread pudding was the best I have ever had in my life. My wife and I always order bread pudding when we see it on a menu and this was top notch. I'm not going to say that in this case you get what you pay for because we've been to other restaurants that we could eat at for about half the price, but in this case I wouldn't change anything and the high price tag didn't lessen my experience at all. We will definitely be going again.”

“My husband wanted BBQ for his birthday today. We read the reviews, so we figured we'd check it out. I had a pulled pork sandwich and fried okra. My husband had ribs and coleslaw, my daughter had ribs and pulled pork, and my son had ribs and the butter wings. Everything was amazing!! I'm not usually a pulled pork fan, but my sandwich was incredible!! Every one of us absolutely loved our meal. We will definitely be back!!”

“After passing this place numerous times, we came in to try out and were thoroughly impressed. The food was great and our server Jeff was top notch! Super friendly and recommended us their pizza and wing combo which saved us quite a bit of money. The wings are huge and taste great and the pizza was fantastic! You definitely get the most bang for your buck here. Definitely coming back and I highly recommend The Big Cheese!”

“Not sure who the manager is here, but they do an amazing job at training. Place was packed on a Friday, but the servers didn't seem overwhelmed or flustered. Juan was great, personable, and attentielve. We just moved to Buford from Sugar Hill, so we know many of the local spots and this was one of the best. Service amazing. They all work together. Everyone was well connected and knew when the food was taking a little longer than usual. Victor was awesome as well. Very aware, energetic, and made sure the food came out great.The food: some of the best I've had on the north side. I got the Whole Snapper(under 20 bucks, which is a great deal) . My wife got the quesatacos with chicken. Definitely the best we have had. Better than Bravos. My daughter got the burrito and rice. All very good. Margaritas were made well and appropriately priced. “What an amazing little place to take a pause and enjoy a taste of creamy frozen goodness in a homemade waffle bowl while watching the busy world of Winder, GA, pass by.The creative, original flavors of ice cream displayed in a colorful array are like little tubs of treasure waiting to be shared. "Mom" happily offers a sampling of whatever kind you want, but save room for a detectible sundae of one, two, or three scoops of your favorites.I can only hope that this wonderful little shop will become a fixture and a model for the growth of a delightful downtown Winder.”

Fed immediately pulls out two strips of raw bacon to go on the grill. Awesome start. Then comes out a good size patty. Everything was fresh, fresh, FRESH!. The tomato was like it was just picked off the vine. He put the fries in the fryer, and the bun on the grill. It looked fantastic in the to go box and I was eager to get back to the office to try it.I can't rave enough about how good everything was. The fries were hot and nicely seasoned, and the burger was delicious.I'll be back. Next time, it will be the blue cheese burger that I read in another review.”

“We have been coming here for years and can definitely say it’s one of the best local spots for brunch! They have a variety of dishes and daily specials that is always a hit! The environment is cute and cozy while the staff are friendly and welcoming. Their signature whipped coffee is a must! They have a delicious churro waffle but this time, I got the special coconut waffle and it was sooooooo amazing, you didn’t even need to put syrup on it. I am still drooling writing this, it was soooo good! The food always come out hot and fresh! It’s fun coming here because you can also build your own biscuit! I highly recommend to all family and friends!!!”
