Bay-bee.... Big Mama's is it!!!! My child lives in Augusta and wanted a home cooked meal. This was a referral and I was overly pleased. Note- I am NOT a huge fan of soul food but ate every single bit of my food!! Prices are reasonable. Food was seasoned well. No complaints.
First time visit the Lima beans tasted like a box of salt I wasn’t the only customer complaining the bake chicken under cooked had to finish cooking it at home also another customer was complaining about the chicken under cooked never served food you would not eat advised Big Mama to train her staff to cook food for customers not how the cook at home your staff will raise customers blood pressure and send them to the emergency room due to under cooked food. The staff was nice...
Big Mama's food is always good, and they give you large portions for your money, though pricing has really gone up since the pandemic. Make sure you order ahead on Sundays or there may be a long line.
