Canceled on a ticketed event a few hours before, be causes he “overbooked” himself. Not an emergency, but because he overbooked. Unprofessional & unreliable.

Backed out of an event a few hours before, because he “overbooked,” not an emergency. Organizers are very careful to not overbook food trucks so that the vendors do a great deal of biz. Black Lotus sold out at the event the previous year. Both parties advertised they would be present. VIP tickets were sold with Black Lotus as one of the food options.

First time eating here this week from the truck at Hornsby Elementary. The owner super respectful genuine person. I asked him what his top sellers he told the top 3 I order all top 3 and let me tell you every last one of them was amazing. If I had to pick the one it would be the Jerk and Mac! I also asked for his top lemonade(2 of them) also another banger! His prices are amazing I asked why he wasn’t charging that much for what he giving he said everyone should be able to enjoy good quality food I’m not trying to hit others over the head I let the food do the talking 10 out of 10 will eat here again! Support locals especially if they have something like this to offer! I spent $50 for 3 big healthy plates and 2 lemonades from a truck if you know you know you can’t get that everywhere

I am not happy with this food truck bc of the lack of choices for people they don't eat all the crazy mixes!!!!!

I had been wanting to try this place since maybe even before it was a food truck but I am always too busy and it’s never been convenient. I finally decided convenient or not I was driving out there to pick some up on Friday. I looked at the facebook page and saw they were running a special that sounded so good I decided to try that instead of the black garlic ox tail ramen I had wanted to try for so long. They marketed the dish as:
Seafood Yakamein stew- imagine a seafood boil with salmon, shrimp, and crab in a savory creole sauce with noodles. This dish is a must try.
I am from creole country so I could not resist this telling myself I can always try the other dish in the future since it is a regular option.

Long story short, the meal was beautiful and delicious! I do not even like salmon 95% of the time but it was more than palatable in this meal. Despite it not being a convenient drive, I am confident I will either be making it again soon or shelling out the extra cash to have some more of the meals delivered.

Today was my first Black Lotus Cuisine experience and the food was definitely a 10/10. I will definitely be a returning customer.
