The food was good,but I feel the steak could have been more seasoned and the carrots cooked more. Overall, the presentation was nice. The staff is accommodating and really nice. Thank you for your understanding.
The food was very bland. Even with added salt it was pretty flavorless. We had the French onion soup, chefs sampler (2 crab cakes the size of a silver dollar, 2 pieces of shrimp with no seasoning, and 2 small stuffed mushrooms). We also had the special surf and turf (over 100’ dollars for very mushy lobster and subpar steak). The lobster temp. was also mushy lobster with more flavorless slop on it. Our server was very polite and the restaurant was clean with a nice ambience....
We had Easter brunch there. The food was wonderful ….our waitress Abby was very sweet. I think I would’ve picked a better choice of music for Easter Sunday than whatever it was they had on the radio lol……not necessarily religious songs, but maybe not what they had. Calverts has always been one of my favorite places to eat.
