Very dissatisfied. Soon as I pulled up the person on speaker started listing everything they didn't have, no grilled food, no chicken, no broccoli, no mac n cheese, then advised that the meal i chose needed chicken and they didn't have chicken but they could do the deluxe meal. arrived about 9:15 finally left at 9:45pm. got home only 4 shrimps but came with 6. No hush puppies although picture showed hush puppies. cold fries after long wait and crab cakes or whatever they were tasted half done, like batter. greasy fish, greasy shrimps. look at my fingers on the video. no friendly greeting at window. Just overall terrible

Disappointed with the Decline -
I’ve been a longtime customer of Captain D’s, but unfortunately, I don’t see myself returning anytime soon. This isn’t just about one location—it’s a trend across all of them. The fish portions have noticeably shrunk over time, and the quality seems to have taken a hit as well. I’ve heard that they’re no longer using Cod or Pollock, which is disappointing for those of us who appreciated the original flavor and texture.
It feels like the brand has lost touch with what made it special. Captain D’s used to be a reliable spot for a satisfying seafood meal, but now it’s more of a passing option than a destination. I truly hope they reconsider and bring back the quality and portion sizes that made them stand out in the first place.

This captain d is by far the best one Ive been to. Food is FRESH and HOT. With good customer service as well. Atmosphere was great and the young man brought me my food to the table. Now the one on Gordon highway was trash. Looks like they just threw the food in the to go box. If you went your money worth go to the one on Deans Bridge😌

The Sassy guy at the window was too busy talking about the Customers and rolling his eyes instead of just doing his job. He tried to gossip with the girl with the green wig but while I was there she didn't engage back

Food was good and warm, serving size could've been larger. Service was good considering the drive through line was long. I ordered inside and could tell the employees were actually working they just had alot of orders to fill. So seeing the angry customers in the driveway was entertaining. Atmosphere was good.

Guy didn’t take my order then they told me to pull up and never brought out my food saying he thought I left. Why would I pay for food and leave in this economy??? Cook was nice but boy taking orders don’t know what he doing. Needs more training asap!
