“This place is very similar to Tilted Kilt, which is good because there are no Tilted Kilts in Georgia and I'm not gonna drive ALL the way to Clarksville Tennessee for that.

Anyway Kelsey attended me and she's VERY sweet and beautiful. I will definately come back ?????.“

“We went there after dinner to shoot pool. The pool tables were dirty and old. The tables are to close together The bathroom was horrible. There are some video games and slot machines. The place seems to have been around for awhile with very little if any upgrades. The old school cigarette machine took me back to a better place in time. We didn't order anything to eat or drink since we just came from eating. I love the fact that everyone has to show ID after 6pm. I mean everyone. It amazed we how many people didn't have ID. The place wasn't crowded at all. They only accept cash. There's an atm inside. I'm sure they have a few local regulars that come in and sit to watch TV or chop it up at the bar. All in all I'm giving it a 3 based on the dingyness. A 5 will be for the old school paraphernalia. If it were clearner it would be a place that I would return to.“

“I did a Bar Review for 5 solid hours here and my only complaint is that they close at midnight haha. I was not bothered once. Bartender was very nice and knew how to make a fantastic Slavic Sadness
(iced vanilla coffee + ketal one vodka).

I would say the drinks are pricey, rather more expensive on average than that of what you would come to expect of most other bars.

That being said you get what you pay for and the readily available charging outlets in close proximity to the tables makes it to where you can really get your grind going.

Parking: You will not find readily available street parking on the weekends, so get here early or suffer, paying for a parking garage.“

“Been going to the Highlander very occasionally since 1990. Used to stop in otw home from camp lejuene to Atlanta in the early 90’s and have stopped in at least once every couple of years since. Out of all the bars I’ve spent time in, and there’s been more than I care to admit, this is THE most consistent one. Drink, throw darts, people watch, and definitely get a shepherds pie. This is a quintessential dive bar, except the smoking has been moved outside. Definitely the best dive bar in Augusta/ North Augusta for 30+ years- maybe more.“
