“Toyin was a complete pleasure to eat in. The staff is very friendly and ready to introduce you to authentic Nigerian cuisine. Everyone in the restaurant was Nigerian and they said this was their favorite place to go. The prices were very reasonable and you get a large helping of food. I'm not entirely sure what I ate because a nice Nigerian gentleman behind ordered for me, but it was a spicy spinach and melon seed stew with flavors I can't really compare to anything else. The fufu that you eat with it was to die for. The tilapia was also delicious. However, be aware that it is not deboned if you order it if you don't eat much fish. I can't wait to try more Nigerian food! I recommend that everyone should come and try Toyin- Nigerian Cuisine.“

“Second time ordering Pepper Soup. First time was in person. They asked this Yankee "how hot" can't remember if I took 50 or 75 %. Today I ordered 100% online. Pepper soup hot as the Sun. So delicious though. Worth the pain. Trying to treat a lingering cold. Hope it works. Interior too dark for me.“

I had to ask what some of the dishes were and the woman who waited on me was very patient in explaining what dishes were made of, what was in the dishes and even right down to explaining how they make the dish.And the food was exceptional. “I want to leave an honest review. I visited this place for the first time yesterday. --- The jollof rice and plantains were AMAZING however the chicken didn't taste seasoned. It did pair well with the rest of the dish but was bland by itself. The dish seemed fresh and came out hot. I liked that. --- The young cashier was extremely nice, attentive and professional. --- I understand renovations are taking place however it seemed too dim for it to be 3 PM. I also noticed rice on the floor and things that should've been swept up.: This place is very affordable and they serve nice size portions. It was cheaper ordering in the store than online. I liked how affordable this restaurant is.“
