“I was in town for work and the locals said go to LR for lunch. Why not? I don’t know any good places and I was so glad I did. The lady at the register (found out later she was the locals aunt) was by far the SWEETEST EVER taking my order. The fried pickles were amazing and definitely enough for more than 1. I loved my burger as well. Best part, is the restaurant is an old gas station. If you’re in Monroe stop by. You won’t regret it.“

“My experience with The Cook Out was excellent, A definite 10 outta 10 due to the fact of the GM was first on site, the District Manager drove me up to get the day started and the food tasted great!

“This is fantastic regional favorite. The food is sensational and very popular. A little pricy..BUT IT IS GREAT FOR A SPECIAL TREAT a great treat. I suggest trying befor judging by stars on here..it is a matter of taste choices.“
