Great bbq and sides. They have excellent ribs and baked beans. Their prices are reasonable and the portion sizes are large too.

Being from Texas, I have high expectations and this is really disappointing. The brisket tasted like they cooked it in an oven and not smoker. You can tell from the light smoke taste on the outside and zero flavor on the inside. And the lack of bark. Ribs and sausage were a disappointment too. Price is okay but to my knowledge places east of the Mississippi don’t know smoked meats. I’m not trying to sound mean about a place, but when I’m eating a Johnsonville brat and putting this down, it should say something. There are some folks from places that don’t smoke meat I understand their liking. Just not mine. Just a heads up to those who look for decent BBQ outside of BBQ country.

The food just wasn’t that good. Brisket was tough and chewy. Chicken was way too big a piece for a sandwich and it was dry if not smothered in sauce. The Brunswick stew tasted like tomatoes.

This restaurant was same restaurant next door, served southern food, first impression was the best barbecue in this town, but after order it , it was disappointing their briskets tough to chew and baby back ribs not really seasoning because they offer good amount of barbecue sauce over it. The ribs also tough not a traditional fall off the bone, as you can see that they had in house smoker to cook, the best was whisky bake beans that's all. Make sure you ask for pay cash because the Toast payment will charge you 3% fee on top of your final bills. (They don't tell you) I would prefer you go the same restaurant for grits & green to enjoy their food.

Food made us sick, also we did not receive what we ordered. The so called brisket was tough, fatty, and way under cooked (rare). Sausage was spoiled, and we never received the pulled pork we ordered. Extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

Some damn good BBQ. It's a rustic hole-in-the-wall, so don't expect table service or any fancy experiences. As long as you're there for amazing food and nothing else -- you're going to love it. Wife had a half chicken and I had the pork plate with beans and collards. The rub is very garlic flavored, not exactly our style. Chicken was moist and flavorful. Collards and beans are good. My pork was not good. Odd flavor, not pork and the bottom half of serving was in water juice and mushy.
