We stopped for lunch while in Blue Ridge. We ordered the half rack of ribs and a brisket plate. The brisket was extremely dry and literally had no flavor at all. We threw all but one slice away. The ribs were okay but also not seasoned at all. The collard greens and macaroni salad were good but the Cole slaw tasted old and the macaroni and cheese was cold. The staff was friendly but I did have to wait a good while before anyone acknowledged me and took my order. We probably would...
Unfortunately, we passed by this little gold mine several times before stopping. We appreciate the cleanliness and tasty food from this cute little Mother and Son restaurant. The pitmaster really knows his stuff!! And the homemade sides were very tasty. 😋
Had the pulled pork, brisket & ribs. Pork was good, brisket was moist and fatty, ribs were very dry. Coleslaw was ok and tots with chicken was good.
