Couldn’t leave blue ridge without seeing my Gal Val @ The General Ledger LOVE everything about this joint; the trout melted in my mouth, the goat cheese salad was incredible and that key lime pie was the BEST I’ve ever had. The service we impeccable!!!! If you haven’t been, GO !!! 🫶

Today is January 1, and dinner at the General Ledger is a top five meal of 2025 I'm certain. Cornbread was phenomenal. Croquettes were phenomenal. Pecan trout was phenomenal. Cast iron cookie was phenomenal. Service was incredible.

The experience was very nice. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, the service is pretty exceptional, the adult beverage selections are awesome and the food is great. I would highly recommend making this a stop if you are in Blue Ridge.

Our family was on vacation in blue ridge + we stopped for lunch. HOLY COW. Everything was delicious. We all had something different + it was all incredible. Their crab fritters were to DIE for. Stop here + enjoy the history with some amazing food.

After everyone at the table ordered a salad for dinner, Felicia surprised us all by ordering the pork chop. I’ve only had one or two pork chops in my life and they have always been thin and tough. Nothing to crave imo. This pork chop was so thick and tasty and amazing I kept asking for bites. Makes me rethink what I know about pork chops. Dulari loved her goat cheese salad, Lauren loved her Cobb salad, I liked my seared tuna salad. Fries were delicious. Service was great. We weren’t a fan of the clementini drink, Felicia loved her French 75. Fresh lemon juice and perfect ratio of ingredients. ⭐️

The atmosphere, decorations, and antiques 10/10. Valerie was our waitress and she was AMAZING very attentive and friendly and even the other servers were great. The food was great I loved the Rockefeller oysters they were fresh and the flavor was perfect. I love the antique bank decor and the old safe and how it was incorporated into your dining experience and it fit the name

Would not recommend eating at this place, very hostile work environment I've heard the employees talk about unprofessional management. Took forever to be served, One server reeked of booze on his breath and one of the owners is a very mean lady she is known to get very angry and has temper issues an fires any employee she doesn't like really not fair, she also struck her husband at the restaurant before.
