So far I’m not impressed with the Byron location. I waited a hour just for a drink. Then they over charged me. Not sure if I will never go back. I give this place 0stars.
I was just passing through Byron and decided to stop here for lunch. THE JERK VEGAN CHICKEN SPECIAL. Just wow. 10/10, would eat again.

Based on the reviews, Crooklyn Roots is an awesome restaurant in Middle Georgia with a dedicated vegan menu. The food is fresh, hot, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Everything tastes made with love and is also spicy. The owner and his daughter provide excellent customer service, and Ms. Debra is very kind. Specific meals mentioned include the vegan sweet chili chicken, jerk chicken, salmon pasta, curry chicken patty, curry goat plate, and mac and cheese. The smoothie bowls, wraps, collard greens, plantains, rice and beans, and Rasta pasta are also delicious. One reviewer said the salmon pasta is a 10/10 and the mac and cheese is a slice of heaven on a plate. Customers came from out of town specifically for the restaurant and found it refreshing. It is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in Middle Georgia.
