I'm never disappointed with Big John's. I'm either there for breakfast with my buddies from high school (maybe every 2 or 3 months), or calling in to pick up a jumbo bacon cheeseburger plate with fries and slaw (maybe every couple of months). Their gravy reminds me of my grandmother's. Biscuits are nice and fluffy. Consistently delicious food and great customer service❤️Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian but I often order the 4 vegetable plate & double the fried okra.

Great country breakfast! Perfect grits, eggs just like only I can make them, wonderful fresh made biscuit. Just the right thickness of sugared cured ham.Best place I have had breakfast ( except when I cook!) in a really long time! I will be back next time I'm in Calhoun, Ga.
