What is lacking in atmosphere in this strip shop center location with an overly open bright lit room, is forgiven with the first bite of great fried catfish. With all the options for sides we tried a mixture. Fried okra & squash get my highest vote. The service was very friendly, even going the extra mile to find honey not on the menu! I was won over & look forward to coming back. The atmosphere totally forgotten when we paid the very reasonable bill!
Awesome place to eat we eat there once a week waitress's are nice and friendly the owner is to he comes around talks to you. He's not like some restaurant owners that you never see really nice guy. There food is really good I've never got anything out of there I didn't like. So this place is an example of why our family has opted out of going out to eat BUT we hadn’t eaten in hours and were picking up our daughter from her grandparents and I read the reviews of this local place where I live and figured I would give it a try. I gave this place two stars because one the drinks were flat my husband and I both ordered coke zeros tasted like flat Diet Coke, so order got wrong, then we ordered the green tomatoes for an app… big mistake was soggy tasteless...
