4 Best Sports Bars near Carrollton

“I keep coming back here, and it’s because the food is just that good. Their burger menu is one of the most creative I’ve seen. They’ve got a Jalapeño Popper Burger, a Thousand Island Burger (the one I had last night), a Mozzarella Burger, and even something called the Presley Firecracker Burger I’m looking forward to trying. These aren’t your typical “lettuce, tomato, pickle” burgers — they’re big, unique, and full of flavor.

My Thousand Island Burger last night was excellent. Honestly, it was almost too big to fit in my mouth — I ended up eating it with a fork, and that’s not a complaint. The French fries are solid too — not just filler, but good quality and thoughtful.

And I can’t forget the appetizer: fried green tomatoes. Every time I come here, I have to order them. Crispy, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal.

Now, it is a bar, and normally that’s not my scene since I don’t drink much. But the atmosphere last night with the football game on was great — lively, fun, but not overbearing.

“Great food, fast and friendly service! The quality and amount of food per dollar spent is worth it here. There are lunch portions that you can get at dinnertime for only $1 more. Definitely worth it if you have a smaller appetite or a new teenager!“

“Very amazing experience. I have not went to Applebee's in a good while. I got the trio as my appetizer. Very delicious and a wide variety of options. The mushroom Swiss burger with fries were tasty, seasoned and the patty was juicy. Jacob did a amazing job taking care for my order. Thank you. Strawberry lemonade with lite ice, I tasted more of the exact flavor more than the ice, very great job. Atmosphere is amazing and I would return again.“

“I only gave 4 stars because when getting a takeout order, they charge you for takeout plates plus add a 10% gratuity to your order and charge 3%for paying with a card. I get it takeout plates cost money (but, that's part of having a business), I understand card companies charge a percentage for using a card (again, part of owning a business and accepting cards), but the 10% gratuity for a takeout order, that's quite ridiculous to me. I've worked in the food industry for over 30 years and I have NEVER heard of such a thing. Their food is great, their service is great. I hate that they put these things into place and not inform their customers beforehand. It just seems like trying to be slick and do something wrong to your customers, which are the very people that keep the place going. I hope these things will be given a second look and show their customers to give a gratuity on a takeout order if they want to.“
