El Tikal Supermercado & Taqueria

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience! The ambiance was great, creating a perfect backdrop for the delicious meal. I ordered the butter chicken,and the indian style chicken biryani and it was amazing. The service was attentive, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place to others and also a special thank you to the chef.

Everything very delicious and handmade tortillas.

I just ordered a menu and it smelled horrible, something similar to chlorine. I came out vomiting. I told the girl who took care of me and she told me it was normal. Terrible service, first and last time.

Food is good, but service sucks & music is super loud. Loud to the point I can’t even have a conversation with anyone at the table. Also, kind of expensive compared to other taquerias near by. Not one of my top choices.

I share the same feedback on the service in the restaurant being very lackluster - almost as if the wait staff is not trained to check back with the table or simply just not motivated. I did not see roaches, but maybe I was not looking - that would be gross. I also saw the issue regarding the restroom and a customer being told it is out of order but only given the key after he advised them it was a health violation. Moving on to the grocery store it is connected, watch out for the highly inflated prices. I thought to pick up a 14 oz can of condense milk to support this place rather than the grocery store but it rang up at $4! Maybe it is convenience store pricing or simply highway of robbery! The produce seemed very substandard and wilted. Maybe there are not enough stores in the area to keep the competition. I recall the owner stated he is from India, but that should not have any bearing on good business ethics and fair pricing; at least I hope not.

Food was good, but service is just awful.You have to walk up to the counter to order or follow up on your food. Otherwise, no one cares if you've ordered or received your food. The worst service.

Not very clean, service was not great. There is a note taped to the table stating to 'be generous to the waitress' however after she brought us our food she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything . When we were ready to leave I got up to look for her so we could get the check and she was sitting at a booth talking to coworkers. That's not how you get a generous tip. The food was ok , not worth what I paid for it . Please ? replace the menus, I was wishing I had a pair of gloves on while touching that thing. Don't recommend.

When I came here my expectations were low, but the food is absolutely incredible, and the drinks are also just as good. For a small place, I was surprised at the selection on exotic foods like cow tongue and fresh tropical fruit drinks. I highly recommend the chicken taco and the taco salad, with that being said the steak is almost as good at the chicken which is outstanding. Definitely 5 stars for the food.
