Why is everything so over salted? We love the space, the appetizers, the drinks. But the main course food choices are losing their previous reputation from about three years ago. Come on y’all!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Impeccable experience all-around! Stopped in while traveling home to TN from visiting friends in Georgia. The kitchen brought their Sunday A-game, to say the very least. Fresh Oysters, Fried Calamari, Succulent Fried Shrimp (magic!), Steak Tips + French toastβ€”ALL πŸ’― TO DIE FOR!! We’ll never miss a visit into Maine Street while passing through again. Thanks for the stellar cuisine, exceptional service and zen atmosphere!

We (four adults) were there for lunch on a busy Saturday (a festival going on in town). Had fried shrimp, shrimp and grits, fish and chips, stir fry with shrimp. The appetizer menu had several choices. We had the spinach & artichoke dip as well as the crab & shrimp au gratin. EVERYTHING was excellent. Prepared just right. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice, clean restaurant. Restrooms were down a long hallway, but nice and clean. There were booths, tables and bar seating. Located in downtown, but convenient parking nearby.

We had a group of 24, had reservations, and service was excellent! I had the fish and chips and the fish was cooked to perfection!

Great food and great atmosphere due to the wonderful service provided by Ms. Rhonda. What an absolute delight!! Great recommendations with the start being mussels, to then shrimp and grits and my son's deliciously stuffed lobster roll sandwich. The perfect ending of the meal was a warm lava cake with ice cream-bon appetit!

My husband and I enjoyed the lobster bisque. The tomato pasta dish was delicious and enough for a second meal. My husband had the snapper filet and said it was perfect - he's pretty picky about his food. The salted caramel cheesecake was smooth and velvety. Relaxing environment. Our waitress was delightful and quite efficient.

This place is fantastic. Food, service atmosphere are all great. Many gluten free options and they take reservations.

Beautiful, old school bar. Great selection of seafood cooked any way you like. Had grilled red fish with capers and red skin mashed potatoes. Delicious.

Had a great time, the French toast was great. The lobster bisque however was basically inedible. It just tasted like melted butter and the lobster was disgusting. Good service though.

Everything from the beginning to the end was superb. The service we received was great and the food was top-tier. This was our first time dining here, but it surely won't be the last.

Our server was nice, patient, and very knowledgeable. This older gentleman (who I assume was an owner) was very kind as well, and he continually showed concern for the patrons throughout the establishment. My wife always has some form of complaint when we go places, but not that day.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a great meal accompanied by a great atmosphere.

Thanks again, Maine Street Coastal... you guys were awesome!!

We love that we discovered this awesome gym of a restaurant in Cartersville, Georgia. We come here almost every week. We love the food, the atmosphere and especially the owners who we both personally met. They are wonderful people, and we love our Server, who usually waits on us her name is Amber. She is the best personality and excellent customer service highly recommend you all to come try thisplace out. You would love it just like us.

What an absolute delight! The food was superb in all regards. The music was great 60's and 70's tunes. Perfect volume as background, therefore was too loud. Could add more lights, as it was a bit dark. Gave the service a four, as I had to ask for beverage refill each time, and she sorta forgot about us when it came time to place our order. We had to get her attention to come back. All that said, will definitely come back.

My family was very much looking forward to eating here earlier this evening (4 adults & 2 kids), but we encountered difficulty that made us eat elsewhere. I had called this restaurant around 1pm and asked if we needed reservations, where I was told reservations were not required. We went to eat around 4:30pm where I was told our party could not be accommodated and we would have to wait 1.5hours. At this time we saw only 2 tables seated, and an empty restaurant. I asked about the multiple empty tables and the hostess told me they were for reservations. I then asked her if we needed reservations then why was I told they were not required when I called? At this she decided to seat us. During this brief convo she stayed laying over her hostess stand and it seems as though she wanted us gone. After coming back from making a table ready, she said β€œI’m not supposed to do this but I can seat you” and mentioned something about her manager possibly being mad at her for seating us, which made us feel even more unwelcome and uncomfortable, so we decided to leave. Friends that had a party of 5 went there to try to eat about 30mins after we left and encountered the exact same thing as us. Is there a miscommunication of policies among staff? I can’t see why so many people were turned away when the restaurant was empty.
