Reef's Fish and Chips

My wife and I use this restaurant as both takeout and eat in, we have no complaints about the service or the food,

This used to be a good restaurant even with the 2 for one offer not anymore fish was grey and tasteless also what happened to the home made chips? Don't do the offer of you can't deliver like you used to.

We usually avoid typical English food when on our foreign travels, but we had arrived at Golf Del Sur in the evening and were not sure if we could get a table in the local restaurants. We fell upon this Fish and Chip cafe and decided to give it a go. We chose Cod and Chips and we're pleased we did. In England we live locally to an award winning fish and chip restaurant and I have to say that the meal we had at Reef was of far better quality. Service was slower than expected but we realised this was because everything was freshly cooked to order; no fish being kept under heat lamps here. Not our normal choice when in Tenerife, but we will definitely revisit.

Absolute delicious fish n’ chips. We all had Atlantic cod and chips, and it tasted superb. Nice service with a smile by the very busy ladies serving. Such a pleasure. Very reasonable prices as well. If you like fish n’n chips you owe it to yourself to drop in here for a dinner (if you can get a table). We will definitely be back here again before flying out. Thank you.

Prompted by a previous Google review, I got supper here. I am impressed with how clean it was. I liked the exposed kitchen, and that my food was prepared fresh. The food, and portion size were TERRIFIC!!! The staff were pleasant.I am a widower, work 60+ hours/week, and just find it easier, and more cost efficient (as strange as that sounds) to eat my supper out. I am always looking for new places to eat. I definitely plan to return to Reef's.

Delicious gluten free cod and chips - fast and friendly service. The cod was beautiful - super fresh and with light crispy gluten free batter. Came with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Highly recommend.

Visited the reef with my partner and little girl as we were staying in the hotel across the road. Such a lovely little spot! Staff were so friendly and the food was gorgeous! I had the fish tacos and my god they were huge! Partner had the cod which was also massive and our little girl had the battered sausage and chips and she ate every bit. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely return if back in the area again.

Came by to enjoy fish and chips and long bowl they had a bonded order of wings get a free water wings so I got that with a piece of fish on the side. Chat with another customers from oil and he was enjoying us fish and chips because we were both looking for in it a good chippy as we call it fish and chip house at chippy.I can't say how wonderful the fish was it was perfect and the wings are excellent.Please come out and support this local wonderful place in here in Cartersville

The food was really good. The boneless wings tasted amazing. They melted in my mouth. The sauce had a good flavor. The cheese planks were super crunchy and delicious. I never tried hush puppies before but tried theirs and they were so good I couldn’t stop eating them.

This place blew my low expectations out of the water! The portion sizes are more than ample, and the pieces of fish are huge and meaty. There's a super delicious, very light batter on them that almost reminds me of tempura. The shrimp are easily the best I've had anywhere; also quite meaty with the same light batter, and HUGE bonus - no tails! The offered sides are few: corn on the cob, salad or fries. The salads are good size and nice and fresh, not a wilted leaf in site. The only thing missing is tomatoes, there were none to be found. The staff is very friendly, the service is fast, and the entire place is very clean. The decor inside is still left over from the previous burger place, so it's a bit confusing on your first visit because you might think they serve burgers and wings, too. Overall we gave this place an A-.

Had to try a few of the new menu items. The boneless wings are crispy and have a great flavor, the green beans are some of the best I’ve had. They have a slight kick and plenty of flavor. The hush puppies were crispy and amazing as always. And the new cheese planks were very filling and crispy. As always the customer service was top notch. ?

Great food at a decent price considering what you're getting. Good fish isn't cheap and Cod is probably the next best for frying next to halibut which is very expensive. Have never been dissatisfied with the food or the service. Everything on the menu is delicious and they are super friendly! Not to mention you can get all the extra sauces tartar cocktail whatever that you want and they give it away for free.

Good food & reasonable prices. I always have the shrimp basket.Update on todays visit 6/14/2022- 1 young man running the whole restaurant. He took our order, then went and prepared it. He did an excellent job. As always friendly too.

Excellent service, very nice staff. Clean and well set up for order, pick up, and take to your table. I loved the large plates, nice usable utensil set with large napkins. We ordered fish and chips, everything was crispy, but moist inside not greasy. Great hushpuppies perfect fries, wonderful tartar sauce and coleslaw. Very nice meal with large servings. And they do serve several bottled good and cold beers!

Visited The Reef for a takeaway when staying at Santa Barbara golf & beach resort. Great meal, good price - would definitely recommend!
