My family and I love this restaurant and their food is consistently great. We drove from Rome on a Sunday midafternoon. During this visit, we ordered sandwiches and we waited for a minimum of an hour. My husband inquired and was told they were still making the meal. Ten minutes later I inquired and was told we have to wait 10-15 minutes more. We were a party of 4. Anyone with children knows it is difficult to wait so long. We watched table after table be served. I love this place. all the food I have eaten here is great. the service is good and I love the atmosphere here. wonderful place for lunch after church on Sunday.

Swheat Market offers very good food made from high quality ingredients, more like home cooking than restaurant food. The chicken salad is excellent with juicy, thick chicken and homemade pickles and dressings. The sweet tea is made from actual tea and sugar, not syrup. Prices are great and the cake is truly excellent, with the yellow cake with chocolate icing being a standout, available warm or cold—the cold one is especially popular. The staff is always friendly, and the portobello spinach quesadilla with sweet potato fries served with boom boom sauce remains a favorite.
Located downtown, the restaurant can get busy, but there are parking options nearby. Recent visitors appreciated the large portions, perfect for sharing, and enjoyed wonderful soups and tasty sandwiches, including the turkey club and pesto grilled cheese. The brisket sandwich, served on ciabatta, was also praised for its amazing bread.
