Nothing over the top or trying too hard about this food. It is just really well done and seasoned perfectly. Had the fried tenderloin biscuit with egg and cheese. Wow, a lot of good flavor there. Also the cheesy grits are incredible. Coffee is quality…cannot say enough about this place. Family-run establishment that is worth a regular visit.
The food arrive after a long time considering I live on 5 mins away. The chicken was so tough and I ended up feeding to my dog! The rice box meal was absolutely disgusting, all so dry and unpleasant to eat! Chips arrived cold! This is the second time I’ve tried rooster shack! I thought I would give another go as the 1st time wasn’t good, it remains terrible! Won’t be using a 3rd time!
