“went there last night at 8, an hr roughly before closing. we are greeted at the door by a young man, who points toward the bar side where there is a live musician. we say we'd like to sit in the quieter, half empty eight area. He freezes, then a woman walks over, glares at us and reverses the seating sign to Section Closed. Struts away, says zero. Im from Philly but eat at TMI frequently. This was intentionally rude and unacceptable, even at Philky standards. That crap would have you fired at my office.“

“I accidentally placed my pizza order for pick-up on the wrong day through the pizza app. Pernell, the manager, reached out to me with pick-up details. Despite my mistake, he handled the situation with ease and asked when I wanted to pick up, accommodating my request for a few days later. On the day of our corporate event, I called as instructed, and Pernell ensured everything went smoothly. Despite our large order of more than 20 pizzas, he remained calm and took excellent care of us. When we arrived, the pizzas were hot and fresh, ready for us to enjoy. Pizza Hut should definitely give Pernell a raise! While I don't typically eat at Pizza Hut, it was the perfect choice for our event. From now on, I'll only use this location. Thank you!“

“I would highly recommend BoccaLupo. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the drinks, appetizers, entrees, veggies, and desserts. Very different drink and food menu adds to this top notch restaurant. All servers are very knowledgeable in the menu and daily taste specials. Also, they make excellent recommendations if u ask. I was impressed when they changed silverware after each course. Classy! Top it off with homemade pasta and your tastebuds will thank you. We will be back!!!“

“Tiramisu is worth the hype. Steak was cooked really well although they didn't ask for preference. Not a full bar so limited drinks for cocktails. The polenta cakes were fine, crispy potatoes were surprisingly good. Biggest complaint is service - just didn't feel very attentive in general. You would expect better service with the vibe being intimate and cozy.“

“This is the most excellent place to celebrate an anniversary! I dropped my parents to celebrate their 65 year Anniversary tonight and I couldn’t have been happier. They were presented an Anniversary card and free dessert which thrilled them. All wait staff came by their table throughout the evening and wished them a Happy Anniversary. “This was my first visit. I called to ask about parking. I didn't get explicit instructions and when I found parking I wasn't sure how to get to the restaurant. There was a long delay in getting drinks. As a matter of fact, another table was sat after my party and they received beverages while we continued to wait. I would say we waited about 20 minutes. We reminded the waiter twice. The water glasses are small and in 90 degree weather you tend to want more water. I had to request a carafe of water because of the small glasses and we all drank lots of water due to the weather. The prosciutto and fruit was tasty. Meatballs were ok. I had the Cache de pepe. My pasta was undercooked, chewy and was warm not hot when it arrived. Nice lively atmosphere but missed the mark.“

“We tried this a couple of weeks ago. We came early and got lucky to get a table because after us there was always a wait. Friendly service and the food a solid 10. We had the Cesar and Arugula salads. Both phenomenal. Then lemon pepper wing’s. Very moist and delicious. Then he had their version of a meat lover and I had black olives with sausage. It was a Wed and they have half off the wine by glass or bottle. We can’t wait to go back!“

“We hadn't been to DiPaolo's in years, and decided to try it again. The whole experience was fabulous. Outstanding food and service (our server Kelly was wonderful). We ordered Caesar Salad, Bone-in veal chop with cabbage “carbonara” style, sea bass (Market fish of the day) with asparagus, gelato & biscotti and coffee for desert. Good wine selections, too. Nice ambience. We'll be back!!!“

“There isn’t just one thing that makes 141 my place to go, it starts with the people that work there, they are not just people that work there, but are like family !!! Then you have the other patrons that frequent this fine establishment, they are also like family !! I haven’t even got to the food yet or their wine selection !!! Let’s just say, I have spent my last 4 Birthdays there, plus even had my OG Rugby Banquet there !! Oh yeah, and I have a tendency to rent the patio for my friends and their furry babies to hangout, so they are Pet friendly on the Patio. If I sound like someone that goes there a lot, then you are right !! Not only is a Restaurant, but I also call Trattoria 141 my home and all the employees my family !!!!“

“Had a great time here last night celebrating my wife's birthday. Food was so good, and our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The interior looks and feels great! We brought our 3 teenagers here and all loved it.

The ambiance exudes “European decadence”, from the intricate bathroom detailing to the delicate cursive script written inside the coffee cups. Moreover, I always love how many people are also here near midnight with a slice and coffee in-hand, especially on those random weeknights. Absolutely one of my favorite spots in the city, and it checks all the boxes to be considered a must-visit spot for anyone.“

“Wow. The food here is magnificent. The calamari appetizer was so delicious and the lobster risotto was sumptuous. Even the bread was to die for - but the service was abysmal. It was clear our server was about to get off work. When we didn't order alcohol, there was a look of disappointment. Things went wrong when we realized we had no idea where our sparkling water was placed..it was great that it was chilling somewhere, but nobody ever came to fill our glasses. A manager did notice our sodas needed refilled and did so. Our appetizer plates weren't cleared throughout the whole dinner and no beverage refills or topoffs offered. Right after we were served dessert the server places the receipt on our table and then came to see if we were ready to cash out. Then the moment after we signed our slips (and while we were still enjoying dessert) they came to collect the receipts and the cleared off plates. In such an outstanding place with delicious cuisine, this kind of service can ruin an experience.“

“This is our go-to brunch spot for Virginia Highlands. Love love love the veggie benedict, french toast and bottomless mimosas! Osteria is a neighborhood establishment and we've been going here for over 20 years. Our kids were raised going to weekly dinner here and still obsess over the kids mac and cheese even though they're grown. The brunch is a great addition. The owner does a lot for the neighborhood.“

“I think they changed chiefs, food isn't as good this time around. Also told us they ran out of bread, which was very strange to me. The restaurant on a weekend was dead. My drink also was not the best. Bar is beautiful though, lots of space for bigger parties.“
