Repost. Last was a rant I decided to tone it down_. ( 2/24 Looks like people are starting to realize by the comments I'm seeing ... ? )DELIVERY DRIVER:Long story short. Few years back. Had an encounter with a " manager " or atleast someone in management. He looked me up and down and shook his head as if in disappointment at me like I was scum and just had the awful presence about him self. ( Middle age 50s , short brownish hair possibly glasses if I remember correctly)I have no dea why . I had insulated bags , delivery driver hat and gear. App up woth customers name and order. I dress decent. Just very odd and you give respect to get it . This place lost mine. They are scum.Hope they shut down in near future and a better restaurant that values customers and delivery drivers ( which helps their business) takes their spot...I deny every offer from here. They seem to have something going on around there.I stay away!!!

Whoever was taking orders on April 18th from 6:30-8pm should not be working there anymore. I have a speech impediment and my wife is deaf, and I was very vocal to the worker about our disabilities. She completely dismissed our disabilities, she was flat out rude about rushing me to order even though she knew I have a speech impediment, and then she got so angry at my wife for not telling her her name for the order when she knew she was deaf. And she signaled us to leave since we were taking too long and never apologized about anything. No singular person has ever been that rude to us about our disabilities in our entire 28 years on this planet and she should be ashamed about treating customers like that.We did tell a different worker what happened and she was very apologetic and empathetic about the situation and we appreciated that. I hope this whole situation gets through to management.

Really great experience, service, and food. Everything we ordered was promptly made, accurate, and delicious! The staff is friendly and helpful. Walked us through the options as it was our first time. At the end of our meal I went to the bar to place a takeout order. The bartender was incredible helpful and even told me he’d bring out my order to me. Service with a smile from beginning to end. Can’t wait to visit again.

One of my favorite micro-chains. There is always a line so you know it is going to be good. I almost always get tacos but their blue plates are always spectacular as well. Service is great- fast and reliable. Definitely a more southern approach to a taqueria and I'm so here for it.

My wife and I love this place. They have a weekly changing menu which sometimes has stars. But favorite item has finally returned thus week. Their chicken pot pie is amazing. A little on the spicy side but we will definitely be back to get two more before weekly menu change

Okay, I admit I've put off going to Taqueria del Sol in favor of what I deem more authentic tacos places along south Chamblee-Dunwoody and Buford Highway. While very bourgie, I found the food product high quality and flavorful. The tacos are made with flour tortillas which is common in the north of Mexico like Sonora and Chihuahua. I alway try carnitas as an initial test. Here they were juicy and tender. A bit salty, but tasty. I liked the brisket taco too. These tacos are alway lightly dressed so you can really taste rmeat. The guacamole was made with nice big chunks of avocado and modest amounts of fillers and seasoning. $15 for lunch is reasonable, but most of my other favs charge about $3 a taco and here they are $4. The place is popular and busy at lunch. Don't let the line put you off, it moves quickly. You order, sit and food is brought to you. Bright, clean with basic deco. Try the "blue plate" its usually a good deal at $11.

We had the most insane experience here last night. We waiting in line for 30 mins with 4 little kids. When we neared the order desk one mom and the kids went and sat down. There were 5-6 more open tables when she sat down. When we got to the order desk they refused to let us order food because a mom had sat down! We had already ordered $60 in drinks at this point. The manager was beyond rude and we left with 4 un fed kids. We will never go back.
