“This place has some of the most authentic Thai food in all of Georgia. Whenever I come up here from Atlanta to visit family, I always come here for dinner because it's so high quality, authentic, and family owned and ran. Also, the kids helping to run the place are super sweet and very intelligent and I hope my children become as hard working and as smart as them.“

“Stopped here after work craving some nice Chinese-American food. I'm not going to critique the decor because it's not what you come to these little mom and pop eateries for and there's only so much an owner can do with a little space like that anyway. With that said, I didn't have any issues interacting with the staff while ordering - they were great. For a small Chinese place in Lafayette (I'm amazed I actually found one), you could do much worse. The House Lo Mein is really good especially if you don't think to hard about the source of the ingredients. The Sesame Chicken was not as crispy as I've had at some of these places but bear in mind it sat in the car for a minute on the drive home; the flavor was on point - sweet, savory, and smooth. Same with the egg rolls, and the broccoli and rice that came with the chicken did their job fine (hard to screw those up). The only real disappointment was the Crab Rangoon and the Fried Noodles - while the flavor of both was fine, the texture was gnarly - honestly almost cardboard-like on both. They just felt stale like they were coming right up on their expiration date or the bag they came in got left open. Not sure I would get those again.Either way, as I said, for a ma and pop shop in a strip mall, you could do much worse. If you have a taste for it, this is still a reasonable place to go for the price.“

“From the moment I stepped into Ming Moon, I knew I was in for a unique and exquisite dining experience. Nestled in the heart of the city, this Chinese restaurant is a gem that offers an authentic journey through the rich and diverse flavors of China. The ambiance, service, and culinary mastery here deserve nothing less than a five-star review. As I walked through the doors, I was immediately enveloped in an atmosphere that beautifully blends traditional Chinese culture with modern elegance. The decor struck a perfect balance between opulence and comfort, with intricate lanterns casting a warm glow over tables adorned with fine china and crisp linens. The staff welcomed me with genuine smiles and an attentiveness that promised a memorable evening. The menu at Ming Moon is a testament to the chefs' expertise and dedication to showcasing the breadth of Chinese cuisine. It offers a harmonious mix of classic dishes and innovative creations that pique curiosity and tantalize the taste buds. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the attention to detail in presentation is nothing short of artistic. My culinary journey began with the Dim Sum platter, a delightful assortment of steamed and fried bites that were both flavorful and delicate. The Har Gow (shrimp dumplings) were a standout, with their translucent wrappers encasing succulent shrimp, seasoned to perfection. The Siu Mai (pork and shrimp dumplings) and Char Siu Bao (barbecue pork buns) were equally impressive, demonstrating the chefs' skill in balancing flavors and textures. The main course was a feast for the senses. Teriyaki Chicken, a signature dish of Ming Moon, was a revelation. The skin was crispy and golden, while the meat was tender and richly flavored,. All the elements were together in a symphony of flavors. The Kung Pao Chicken, with its perfect blend of spicy, sweet, and savory notes, was another highlight. The Szechuan peppercorns added a delightful numbing sensation that elevated the dish to new heights. No culinary journey would be complete without dessert, and Ming Moon's offerings were a sweet testament to the creativity of their chefs. The Jasmine Tea-infused Crème Brûlée was a standout, with its delicate floral notes and perfectly caramelized sugar crust. The Mango Pudding, with its luscious texture and vibrant flavor, provided a refreshing finale to an extraordinary meal. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff were knowledgeable, offering insightful recommendations and sharing the stories behind the dishes, which added a personal touch to the dining experience. Their attentiveness and professionalism were unparalleled, ensuring that every aspect of the meal was flawless. In conclusion, Ming Moon is more than just a restaurant; it's a destination for those who seek to immerse themselves in the wonders of Chinese cuisine. With its exceptional food, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service, it offers a dining experience that lingers in the memory long after the last bite. Whether you're a connoisseur of Chinese food or eager to explore its culinary delights, Ming Moon promises an enchanting journey that will captivate your senses and leave you longing for more. “A very large selection at this buffet. The noodles are very good! Chinese servers and Mexican cooks, as most are these days. But! They had an extra Mexican section here that took advantage of that! Very nice. The grandkids liked the ice cream cones. I like the ones that have real ice cream buckets in the small freezer. It was a bit gritty textured, like the custard cones. I compensated with the tapioca pudding. Yummy!!! The best chinese buffet i have been to. The only reason i put a four on service was the waitress who never smiled or talked. Putting the bill on the table before i finished my first plate. Which i like to try a few little items at a time. She didn't check the drinks very well. But got 15 percent because that's our minimum unless someone is rude or incompetent. Otherwise it was a great time!“

“Much to my surprise, the food was good. So, we were in town visiting when we had a need for Chinese. Found this place by mistake. I love hole in the wall places. They were rated pretty well. 4 for a neighborhood Chinese is like a 5 plus. We don't have one in ours anymore, so this was a nice find.I tried to walk in and order but had to go to the drive up window to order. Hum, strange but whatever. Maybe do to covid. Safety. Who knows. Well, I ordered and had to park in the parking lot to wait for the food. It felt like a long wait. That was my only issue.Once I got home and opened the bag, everything I ordered was there, and the amount was huge. The taste was good. Nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix. Hunan beef, General Tso, and some spring rolls. All was good, and there was plenty of leftovers.I would visit again.“
