Me and my wife did the distillery tour, and had Ryan as our guide, he was very informative and great energy. We had a blast and totally recommend seeing it for yourself.

Me and friend (both Bourbon drinkers) went to the speak easy. Met the owner and 1 bartender. Both were very pleasant. Learned a lot about the makings of bourbon, differences of bourbon and rye. Tried the vodka, margarita mix and Bloody Mary all were great. Beautiful place to just relax and have an adult beverage. Also, military and veteran friendly. We bought several bottles so we didn’t make it to the distillery but plan to go back real soon.

They were so rude! We stopped in to buy a few bottles after a long day at the ballpark. Before we even stepped in the door one man fussed at my daughters for looking at the water fountain and another made a nasty comment. We only intended to make a purchase and leave, but we will never be back.

We went there before they remodeled and took the tour. It was nice and the owner was very friendly. We bought a lot of his products. We stopped by after they remodeled and it was completely different. The owner was very rude when I wanted to take some pictures of the new bar. I think it was his father in law that finally helped me pick out some rye that I enjoyed. Unfortunately we will never be back because of the owners attitude. Dad deserves 5 stars. Owner… not so many

We spent a wonderful two + hours here doing the tour and tasting. It was a great experience. Doug, owner/operator & Master Distiller, led the tour. Doug is a super personable guy with a ton of knowledge about making whiskey. He explains the science behind his craft and makes the tour fun and interesting. We've toured many distilleries and Doug and Moonrise Distillery are by far our #1! The tasting at the end was great, too. Doug teaches you how to drink bourbon. I found out I've been doing it wrong for avery long time. But I'll do it wrong no longer. Go see Doug. Take the tour. Taste his craft. You won't be disappointed and you will learn something.

Came here on a whim. Not disappointed! Atmosphere is calm, relaxed, and a great chill spot. Owner is super knowledgeable and is the Einstein of his trade. Melissa is great at taking care of you and everyone else. Will ABSOLUTELY be back!

Came here on a road trip from Oregon to Savannah, and this was the highlight of the trip. Meg was so wonderful and helpful with their vast selection of tasty whiskey. Although we just met, she made us feel like long time friends. Southern hospitality is very much alive at Moonrise Distillery!

The owner and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I’d highly recommend you stop by any time you can. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in town.
