The Farmhouse Market Lake Burton Sports Bars • $

“Tonight we stopped by the Farmhouse Market and picked up some dinner. We got a brisket dinner and a vegetable lasagna dinner. Both were outstanding! I highly recommend you stop by and give it a try. To help with the stress, we picked up a couple of fresh brownies. Anybody who knows Vince, knows what a great baker he is and there is really no need to say it, but they were two of the best brownies I’ve every had. And frankly, I’ve had a few over the years. Hang in there Vince. We are all looking forward to sharing a dinner at the Farmhouse once the world returns to normal.“

“My family really enjoyed our weekend stay at Chattooga River Lodge and Campground. We arrived late Friday night. We had a good burger, wings, and onion rings at Willie’s Tavern. The restrooms/bath house was between our campsite and the tavern. Then spent Saturday morning we started off at The Gauge Coffee House in Long Creek and then went to Clayton, GA. That was a really cool mountain town. Then over to Walhalla for a few shops and back to Long Creek for awesome pizza at Humble Pie. Then to Willie’s Tavern for live music near a cool fire pit and they let us bring the dog. Sunday morning we hit The Gauge Coffee House again before church at Mountain Rest Baptist Church and then back to camp to load up. They let us leave with a late checkout so we could go to church without our camper and dog. We stopped by Oconee State Park and then Marci Joe’s in Cleveland, SC. Overall it was a great trip. The folks at the campground were very nice and no issues whatsoever. Showers were good, it was peaceful, and we throughly enjoyed our time there. We would definitely recommend it.“
