Captain D's is known for its wonderful customer service, with employees who consistently get orders right and provide excellent service, even giving extra sauces. The food is consistently cooked to perfection, and vegetarians will find that all sides are vegetarian options. The mac and cheese is a highlight. However, it's not a vegetarian-focused restaurant, and parking is limited. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with a ramp and tables that can accommodate wheelchairs. One popular meal is the deluxe seafood platter with broccoli and mac & cheese, a giant fish sandwich with fries, fried pickles, sweet tea, and ranch and hot sauce.
