So first time eating here and probably the last. Went on a Friday at 1:30. Service was awesome. Waitress was on top of everything. No coke products. I mean come on this is Metro Atlanta, home of Coke. Get with it….fried chicken was good, green beans good, Mac and cheese amazing. Fried green tomatoes were meh. They were cold on the inside. My shrimp and grits was just a tad below average. No taste, and for the money not a huge portion. All in $77 for two people at lunch, and we don’t order anything crazy. Defiantly not worth the price paid and that is why we will not be back. ps, major roof leak. We were just sitting there and water starts pouring through the roof and no one seemed to care.

My entire family loves this place. Food is excellent. Customer service is outstanding. Mr. Henry is just super sweet. Love love love. I took away 2 stars because the guy at the bar with the dreadlocks is definitely sneaky with giving customers the correct change. Seems like something he does very often.

I really enjoyed my experience. The food was delicious ! I had the fried catfish I added six shrimp , okra and the three cheese mac. Today I was greedy? because I didn’t need a togo box I ate every last bit of it! It’s a good distance from where I live but the drive is absolutely worth it ❤️

First time visiting Coaxum and I was disappointed. The food was not good and maybe I had high expectations especially when i saw the prices but needless to say I will not be back. I had the Ceasar salad (very soggy), catfish (it was ok), sweet potato souffle (horrible) and fried okra (this was seasoned well) I wanted greens but was told they were still cooking and wasn't ready yet ?. The service could have been better as well. I don't like when I have to try to get the server's attention to ask for something but this happened more often than it should have.

Coaxum is a wonderful restaurant for family dining, small celebrations, and work gatherings. The food is excellent. It is best to make a reservation doing busy holidays and Sunday brunch to minimize your wait time.

I used to love this place. I went on a Friday night. I guess they changed the menu and recipe because it was not as I remembered. The gumbo was unseasoned, the red rice was dry and nasty, and the mussel wine sauce was soooooooo salty. I loved the band and the customer service was pretty good. I had the Coaxum drink and it was good, I like strong drinks!
Food and service was excellent. Ample parking also.Parking: Plenty of parking, as well as handicap accessibility.Wheelchair accessibility: Ample wheelchair accessibility.

The food was delicious and pricey. Once we finally got a regular waitress, things improved.
We had my mother in law 80th birthday dinner there. She really enjoyed everything. The live band was the icing on the cake! She danced and they brought her up and serenade her. We had so much fun. Our food was amazing. Our waitress was on point too! We'll be back soon.
whenever i have out of town guests i have to take them to this place for dinner atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing and the band is amazing! Food is always delicious and professional staff. one of the bands my cousin offered them too come to Detroit to play at their Black Expo festival she is the Mayor of Farmington all expenses paid.
Friendly staff...the food was a bit pricey and left a lot to be desired. The shrimp and grits were just okay. I respect the effort, but for me, there are better places to dine for the money.
