I called in for just a bowl of soup and came to pick it up. It took them 30 minutes before I was able to get it. Unbelievable!!!

The food was exceptional. The fish special with shrimp and gravy was just delicious. Service was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was really southern. It’s not a fancy or quiet place, just lively. You have to like that.

SlowSlowSlowWe arrived a little after lunch and were sat immediately. There were maybe 5 other tables not including the bar. Restaurant wasn’t busy. It took at least 15 minutes to be acknowledged and to get our drink order (2 soft drinks). After finally getting our drinks and placing an appetizer order our server disappeared. We waited another 20 minutes and she never checked on us or gave us any type of update of when the appetizer will be coming out nor did she come by to see if we were ready to order our meals.If the service is this slow during a less busy time period I would hate to see what the experience would be like on a Friday or Saturday evening. We wanted to give 16 East Bar and Grill a try since Cordele has limited restaurant selections but this will be our first and last time coming to 16 East Bar and Grill. After waiting 45 minutes and still no appetizer and our lunch order not even placed we walked out. We shouldn’t have to try and hunt down a server to check on our food and request drink refills or to let them know we’re ready to place our order.If you have 2+ hours to waste then maybe give this restaurant a try.

They have the best Cajun pasta, actually we haven't had a bad meal there yet. The hostesses are always friendly as well as the wait staff! Shantee is the nicest, funny and friendliest waitress

Very cool place. Service was great and food was amazing. The frog legs were PERFECT and the Red Snapper was perfectly blackened seasoned and cooked. Nice comfortable place to get a delicious high end meal at a moderate price.
