I sat barside and ordered dinner. The grilled chicken had amazing flavor, custom order as you want with sautéed spinach, onions and mushrooms or not. The okra was nice & crispy but the juices from the chicken ran in the okra making it soggy fast. Okra should've been served separately! I travel this route alot, I'll be back. ? Can't not mention the genuine kindness & great service from our bartender! Great experience ?
We live in Tampa FL, and stopped for the night in Cordelle. We are glad we did, we might make the trip again just to come by 16 East. The food was excellent, we had frog legs for our appetizer, my wife had salmon and I had a hamburger steak that was the best I've ever had! Jessica was the sweetest bartender you could ask for, when she called my wife hunny and ma'am in the same sentence, she won us over. We'll be back every time we venture up I-75

Incredibly long wait to get our food. Understandably, they were busy on this Saturday night, but it took longer than it should’ve. The frog legs were cooked well but weren’t seasoned enough. The French onion soup was also bland and needed more salt, and the wine wasn’t cooked out enough. The Mac and cheese was just okay. The house chips were lackluster but the fries were good.
