Service and atmosphere were great. They have a full service bar with an Old Fashioned on the menu. A sign of a good bar is how they make this drink. They used regular maraschino cherries (instead of Amarena or Luxardo) and too much ice - which made it a bit watered down. Also, wasn’t given a choice on bourbon. Friendly greeting at the door and great table service. My salad arrived fast and the steak followed at an appropriate pace. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium. It was a tough cut of meat (I ordered the sirloin at the recommendation of the server) and I really had to chew and chew. It needed salt added. The restaurant had nice background music and the atmosphere was relaxing and not too dark, not too bright. The menu has a nice selection for everyone. Would I return? Yes.
The beef tips were great. The sweet potato fries would have been really good too, but I forgot to tell them no cinnamon sugar, so I didn't eat many. I like sweet potatoes plain. The amaretto sours were perfect! A couple that was seated next to me even shared one of their ribs with me when I showed interest. It was like a family atmosphere. It was fantastic!
