Station House of Cumming Reviews
Went to Station House today and absolutely enjoyed it! Chicken and Dumplings, cream corn, and THE BEST squash casserole I’ve ever had! The owner even came out and chatted with me! Service was excellent also! Live in Blue Ridge, so I’ve tried a lot of mom-and-pop, meat-and-threes between here and there. If you’re in Cumming DEFINITELY try them out!
Genuine Southern Cooking by Southern people. Very friendly and efficient staff. Fair prices. Great location by the racing hall of fame and Food Lion. Easy parking. Dawsonville needed a place like this and it is a blessing to Dawson County!
The "new" Station House of Cumming is fantastic! They have kept the same atmosphere, staff and many menu items but are fine tuning and adding new items. Dennis, the new owner, and his family are long time restaurateurs who are doing great things.

Station House of Cumming is a small spot that offers very good food and friendly service. Diners praise the Southern cooking and the home cooked feel that reminds them of childhood. The menu includes classic dishes such as chicken salad sandwich, onion rings, turkey, dressing, collards, black eyed peas, fried okra and corn. Guests also enjoy drinks like Blue ribbon Sweet Tea and cinnamon brown sugar cold brew. Service is efficient, with staff keeping drinks topped and offering great suggestions for breakfast. Prices are fair and the location is near the Racing Hall of Fame and Food Lion, making parking easy. The restaurant is often busy on weekends, but the experience is worth the wait. New management keeps the same great food while adding a few new items. The Station House feels like home and is a blessing to Dawson County.
