“I love using Holy Smokes catering! I have used them a lot for lunchtime catering for customers and have never been happier. The food is exceptional!!! The meats (pork and chicken) are cooked perfectly and taste so delicious with their very own BBQ sauce. The Mac and cheese is the best that I have ever had and my customers say the same thing! The salad is always so fresh and the dressings are some of the best I’ve tasted. The Smokey flavored green beans are delicious and I always have more than one helping. My favorite dessert is their homemade brownies that are just like my grandma used to bake. They are always on time with their delivery and communicate so well when I reach out to them to order. “OMG y’all have to make this your go-to restaurant. The restaurant was welcoming, clean, and the team members are friendly! It was our first time and I’m so glad that I searched “soul food, Buford, GA” in Google Maps. I had the fried fish, Mac and cheese, and turnip greens with cornbread. My husband had the ribs, coleslaw, BBQ beans, and Mac and cheese. Our son had the brisket sandwich and fries. It was so tasty and delicious. We all left with leftovers and with smiles. “Wow! What can I say! This place blew me away! Came late night thru the drive thru. Although I didn't dine in I did have alot of interaction and conversation with the lady helping me. (Think her name may be Shakila). Not only was she friendly, patient and welcoming but suggested a few things for my husband and I to try.

Man!!!! City Bbq did not disappoint! We decided to go with the Triple Q Tacos. You can get 2 or 3 and a side. We went with potatoe salad. We figured at 1st we'd try that and then if we liked and wanted more we'd get it. The sauce and toppings on these tacos were phenomenal with the sauce they used. Soooooo good! Potatoe salad yummy as well. Very sweet and had a few veggies in it! By the time we finished these we were starting to feel full. But with talking to Shakila and it being towards the end of the night (closing), she was so sweet and gave us a small side of the peach cobbler and corn bread pudding to try out as well. I'm not really into corn bread pudding but that peach cobbler!!!! Let me tell you.......don't leave there unless you buy that!!!! Now stop reading this and get going over there to place your order! Lol....I'm getting hungry right now writing this!“

“Tannery Ale House hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for about 35 people for our son and daughter in-laws wedding last week. The food was amazing, all the guests raved about it, even days later. We had the Pitmaster buffet and the brisket and the peach cobbler is not to be missed! There was so much food, plenty for everyone and then some... The rustic setting of the party room was perfect and having our own private bar was so convenient. The service was on spot and the bartender was great as well. Thank you Mike Neal and Tannery Ale House for helping us make this a truly special event.“

“I dinned on Sunday 27 of September at lunch hour.
The food and drink was delicious!!
But, I asked for a medium well steak and I received a done one with extra char on top. I ated without complaining, but next time I will.

Now, the woman bathroom was DISGUSTING!!!!
Feces was visible all around the bowl in both stalls. The mirror was also dirty.
Since I always squat I was good, but I have never seen such a filthy bathroom in a restaurant.“

“My husband and I went for a late lunch (around 2:30p), both of us got the Ribeye, broccoli & rice pilaf. The steaks were cooked well (med rare), but were a bit thin and WAY over-seasoned. The amount of salt & pepper on them was so much so that the black pepper was getting stuck in our teeth! And the salt content almost made me slightly nauseous...as im, my blood pressure went up, I could FEEL it, and I don't have BP health issues!
I know the joking 'stigma' about us 'unmelanated' folks feeling that 'salt is even too spicy for us', but that's definitely not the case with me -- I'll just say this: I have to turn down the offer of jalapeños in our cheese dip, but that's for everyone else at our table; this girl loves her spicy foods! So, with that being said; when BLACK PEPPER is burning your face off, well, that's because they put way too much black pepper on there. Steaks should have flavor, you shouldn't only taste the seasonings...what are they covering up? Why the flavor masking; what are they trying to HIDE?! Spices are meant to compliment the food, to enhance it's natural flavors...NOT to drown them and get stuck in your teeth. ?

Anyway, to make a longer-ish short post *even longer*: The food looked and smelled great, butnthe Ribeye was a bit skimpy in thickness and ALL of it, everything, was absolutely doused in salt and black pepper...?“

“My church buddy selected Longhorn Steakhouse for her birthday lunch. The staff warmly greeted us and met her request to sit in a specific area of the restaurant. Our waitress, Alisha, was kind. I enjoyed my loaded potato soup and baby back ribs. She was satisfied with her 12 oz ribeye and sweet potato. The complimentary bread is her favorite too….lol! I noticed other guests were recognized for their birthdays. So I informed Alisha we were celebrating her birthday too. She can not eat chocolate so they gave her a special vanilla ice cream with caramel treat- in addition to the sweet birthday serenade. Thank you Alisha and the other Longhorn staff for making Ms. Dora feel extra special for her lunch outting to celebrate her 93rd birthday“
