I will tell you there is nothing that compares to the authenticity of the German food here. The owner is very nice and very passionate about e erythromycin he cooks. It is all homemade, German potato salad was exactly how my family makes ours. We will be back!!!!

Not much selection, and way overpriced for sub par schnitzel, sausage. The “ German chocolate cake” was soooo weird. It was not German chocolate cake, and the consistency was like it had gotten wet and dried out again, sort of chalky and not good.

I have been coming here for years, and the food, service, and ambiance has always been good. The schnitzel is always crispy, and the potato pancakes are to die for. The cheese platters are always a good option, and the deserts are wonderful. For a Friday night dinner, it's wonderful to have- though I do think that something is missing- and that something is ASPARAGUS. I am no food professional or critic, but I think offering a common German vegetable like asparagus is a good way to introduce vegetables that allows fresh balance on the plate, as the only opinions are potato's, mushroom sauce, and cabbage in a sauce as well. I think for those looking for a hearty yet refreshing vegetable as a side- asparagus is the key here. Otherwise- everything was ABSOLUTELY wonderful!

Fantastic experience. The owner John is a wonderful guy and runs a great restaurant. Service is awesome, people are friendly, and the food is fantastic. We'll make that a regular stop each time we're in town. The Jagermeister schnitzel is not to be missed!

Great German food run by an American who lived in Germany for 20+ years. Get the Hefe-Weizen if you're a beer drinker; it's the best thing in a 50-mile radius. The local German people all show up on Fridays at about 6pm if you want to see a good show. LOLParking: There are only a handful of parking spots. It's not usually an issue, but you may have to park on the sides of the building.

Great view! The food is homemade and excellent. The owner and proprietor speaks fluent German as well. Fantastic German beer selection, and classic German food. I particularly enjoyed the jager schnitzel. This is a fantastic lunch spot. Not too crowded and very quick service. Ausgutzeitchnet!

I had the Veal Bratwurst with a Pretzel and Spätzle. The Bratwurst was overcooked and dry. The Pretzel was over cooked and over salted. The Spätzle was dry and tasted like it was the kind that you get in a bag at Publix. My brother who had the "CurryWurst" said that it was just a Bratwurst covered in ketchup and sprinkled with curry powder. Plus, we never even got refills on our drinks.It's an awful excuse for "German" food. I'd rather drive to Helen and get some actual German cuisine.That being said, the server was nice enough. When they didn't have a portion of our meal they attempted to make up for it by bringing out extras of everything else on top of giving us our choice of something else.In truth, I can't recommend this place to anyone. Not until something changes with the food. And they add on another server to their payroll.
