We drive two hours just to get authentic German food from our old college town. We love this place!
This is the worst restaurant I've ever attempted to patronize, and we didn't even eat. My wife and I walked in, and she said "hey". I nodded and smiled, and we attempted to sit down as I heard rude, loud remarks from the owner/cook about how he can't stand people who don't speak when they enter. First of all, we did speak, but you didn't hear. Second, it's your job to greet us, right? Reens' Bratzeit & Biergarten is a cute and neat restaurant. The food is super yummy, with good sausage, pretzel, and saurkraut. They serve original German, self-made food, including home made Spätzle, good Schnitzels, and very good black forest cake. The restaurant has a variety of sausages and German wine and beer. It has a simple decor, but is clean and cute. The atmosphere is great and the people are super nice. Reens' Bratzeit & Biergarten is a place for authentic German food and a lovely experience.
