PAINFULLY slow service. Based on all the loud horseplay coming out of the kitchen, it seems quite obvious that their priorities are elsewhere.

Good in the morning and the afternoon, but the evening shift it's a whole different DQ with cold burgers, slow service, dirty tables/floor, and lots of idle employees socializing and little else. Updated this on 9-15-25 5:28 after my 5:00 m visit.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would. In the few times I've stopped by this location, I've had an extremely disappointing experience. The food is always poorly made and never worth the prices. The employees were so rude and unprofessional. Clearly a lack of customer service training, I'd assume the manager is no better. To top it all off, this resturaunt is FILTHY! Not surprised at the low health inspection score. Hope to see them improve, but it seems unlikely. Needless to say I will not be back.

Ordered a 6 piece chicken strip box. Only got a 5 strips and this was one of them. The rest were also super thin compared to normal but this one made me lose my mind

I’m not usually one to post negative reviews, but if a restaurant feels unclean I feel like something should be done. This Dairy Queen feels disgusting and smells like a dirty bathroom. They got an 88 on their health inspection and I honestly feel like it should be a lower score than that…the tables were dirty, the windows were disgusting, and all of the napkin dispensers were dirty. If I was getting anything other than just ice cream I wouldn’t have gotten anything. I really hate posting negative reviews but I would love to see this location take its image and cleanliness seriously. Hopefully there’s improvements!

I stopped by this Dairy Queen for breakfast one morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. I was charged for a drink that I never ordered, and my order wasn’t read back to me, so I didn’t catch the mistake until after I had paid. When I brought it to their attention and asked for a refund, I was told that refunds weren’t possible. The staff came across as unprofessional, and the overall experience lacked the standard of customer service I expected. I really hope this location improves in the future.

I frequent DQ. Work ethics w employees is extremely and I repeat extremely unprofessional. One day, there was a big tube of hand lotion above the soft serve ice cream dispenser! Wish I would have taken a picture for proof! Employees eating chick Fil a while working drive thru! Another female standing behind Chik fil A employee salivating over her food and not giving her undivided attention to who needed to b waited on at the counter! Silly young teens and young adults who cannot put their cell phones away to do their job! DQ needs to retrain their employees so that the dahlonega which is popular to tourists stays that way! Yoga pants on big girls w shirts that do not cover their behinds is unprofessional! Food waiting to b bagged up and big A morning employees are just shooting the breeze w each other! Some employees only make $9 an hour!! This happens during breakfast lunch and dinner but could not select this and it’s for dine in take out and delivery!

An employee handed me a soggy drink tray which broke on me immediately and then they gave me an attitude when I asked them to replace the drinks and tray. Ice cream is not always served, sometimes you will be told it's too early or late for them to sell it.

Always good plus deserts.

The Dahlonega Dairy Queen is fantastic! The service is always friendly and efficient, and the food never disappoints. Their breakfast is especially great, always fresh and delicious. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

My biggest issue was with the lack of cleanliness. The servers were kind.
