This is hands down my favorite Chinese place of all time! My husband and I went here on one of our first dates in 2019 and the owner still recognizes us and asks us how we are each time we go! The atmosphere is a mom and pop place while the food is always exquisite! Thank you Magic Wok for always creating not only delicious food but also great memories we will cherish forever! I recommend the spicy orange chicken with lo mein, egg rolls, and fried dumplings!Kid-friendliness: They are always very polite to my daughter and have cute animal chopsticks that she loves to use at home.

This was a fantastic Chinese restaurant when Sophie owned it however since new owners took over its nothing like it was then. I have probably eaten there 4 times in the last year and the food was simply ok. It too bad since there is only one other Chinese restaurant in Dahlonega.

Ordered hibachi steak. Very little meat for what we paid mostly sauce and veggies. Rangoons were good and a nice size.

I order from here a lot with door dash. The steak hibachi is delicious and the egg drop soup is one of my favorites. It's a great price for the amount and quality received.

So it's an order at the counter place. Get your own drink at the beverage center. We got the steak; it was horrible! Tough and tasted like liver. I ate 2 pieces and gave up. Will not be back. The young lady at the counter was very nice. $15 for a small and bad meal is not for me. Dining room is attractive and clean.

I love this place!! My favorite is Pad Thai! Everything is great here but I find myself ordering pad Thai every time with egg rolls and dumplings. It’s enough to feed 4. The people who run it are exceptional.

Magic wok is the best! I discovered it when I moved to Dahlonega. Everything I've ever ordered is delicious! The hot and sour soup is to die for. Service is always great and the staff are incredibly friendly. KUDOS to Magic Wok!

Absolutely inedible lunch. I ordered the Snow Pod Beef, and what meat there was was so chewy I spit it out. It came with 2 Crab Rangoon, but if you wanted hot mustard or sweet and sour sauce, it was $1 extra. My friend ordered the Mongolian Beef. Even less beef in hers, and also inedible. Her bowl was full of onions and not much else. I'll never give them another dime of my money or a moment of my time! Very disappointing.

My wife and I have dined here several times and the food and service have been relatively good, although a bit overpriced for what is served.Today we dined there and had a very negative experience with the service and food.We waited about 45 minutes for our food and it was barely warm.The food tasted strange like it was spoiled. We immediately took the food to the counter to complain and ask for a refund.The waitress said no! She spoke with the cook/manager who was adamant that he would only refund half. We only tasted the entree and not anything else so it isn't like we had eaten half the meal before complaining. We also didn't get all of our order.I told the manager that I would contest the charge on my credit card and then we left.

The only complaint we had was the plastic silverware. We get it, but they kept bending. Other than that, the food was FANTASTIC!!!! Service was amazing. Best crab Rangoon we’ve ever had; they were perfectly stuffed and fried. Will come back and will definitely recommend.
I will not eat here again. We loved to eat there before remodle. We were shorted on our delivery order and when I called they would not take responsibility even though I had receipt in hand. No sweet and sour sauce for my sweet and sour chicken. Worst service I have had in Dahlonega. Don't bother here, go to Hoka Hoka or Dawsonville for real food and real service. One last comment , I was told they were too busy to help a paying customer who was not served what we ordered. To bad Dahlonega needs good restaurants but this ain't it!

I have not had a dish that was bad. My favorite is the hot and sour soup and I can't say I've had a better version. Every time I say I'm only gonna eat a half a quart and next thing I know, I end up staring at the bottom of the container!

I was in town for an event and craved some Chinese food. I stopped in the Magic Wok and ordered Singapore mei fun and chicken fried rice. The very courteous and chipper receptionist told me 15 mins. Either they were swamped or it was made to order. 15 mins later I was off to my hotel. The portions were definitely for two and the taste was very good. I would definitely try this place again.
