Have been coming here a long time. As of late doesn’t seem as clean. Food not always good. Steak in steak Gordita chewy and fatty in some places. Upcharge of $2.50 for extra sourcream! Asked to see the manager and she was awful. Not customer focused, told us her policies and left. No hurry to go back. The server was excellent.

My review is from an experience on a Friday night with my wife and 4 year old. We had a decent time, but it was definitely not ideal.The place was vibin' and loaded with people, but only took about 10 minutes to get a table. The girls up front were very nice. As was our server, Carlos. He was very nice and accommodating. Carlos was the only enjoyable thing about the experience.The food was sooo salty. I'm sure it taste great to the people chugging tequila and margaritas, but not for me. I had the chicken soup. My wife commented on the saltiness as well. The guacamole looked like they ran it through a blender (yuck). $60 for two adults and child is a bit steep for the quality of food received. My wife did have a mango-margarita which she enjoyed.The music was turned all the way to 11. Make that forty 11. Unreal how loud it was! Even our server made a comment about it. Was very hard to have a conversation with my family and order food due to the noise. If it were good music it would be one thing, but this was that boop, boop, boop, boop Mexican music that would aggrivate the dead. Not the good Mexican music that I love! This place used to be great...

I have never had a worse experience with arestaurant in my entire life.My 2 friends and I walked in, were seated instantly, and were able to get our drinks ordered and waters were delivered quickly. Off to a great start. My friends also ordered some alcoholic drinks, but I needed another minute to figure out my decision. We noticed a group of 8 sit down across from us after this. They managed to get their food around the same time my friends finally got their drinks. Our server knew someone in the group and would talk to them, but ignore our table. She wasn't even their server. I ordered an alcoholic drink and a vegetarian item on the menu. I got the wrong meal, but it took so long to get the food that I didn't even bother with telling the waiter because I just wanted to eat. About halfway through my meal do I finally get my drink. I didn't enjoy the drink, and the food was not good. We hardly saw our waitress- or rather she hardly saw us, so we couldn't ask her for help. Before we even finished our meals, the table of 8 leaves. At the end of it all, I was charged for the wrong drink and paid for something more expensive.On top of that, the music was absolutely all over the place; we somehow heard something like jazz music and Justin Bieber in the same seating period.The experience soured my day. My friends also felt that the experience was extremely poor. It's such a shame too, because we are locals who had eaten here before and thought it was good idea to come back. Luckily, there are other mexican options, with one just a 5 minute walk down the street.Vegetarian options: Very small vegetarian options page. About 4 or 5 options on the menu. Had one of them, it was terrible.

What a great little eatery!!! My wife and I discovered Peublos a couple of years ago, and we now stop in and eat here every time we come into Dahlonega. We live in Atlanta and come to Dahlonega at least six or seven times a year, and we absolutely love this spot. Great food, truly reasonable prices, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. The weekday lunch specials are especially great values.

Really gone down hill. I went there and they have the jar squatter for the host /hostess? That just ruins it. Ordered the street tacos. Just awful. Will not return.
