I had the pleasure of staying at the lodge for two nights during the recent ice storm. It was truly amazing. The reservationist Shelia and Keith made the process very easy. From arrival time to check out time the entire staff was accommodating and very friendly. Shirley Welch and her Daughter Freida made soups and brought in to the restaurant for guests to enjoy. The restaurant was closed during this time of bad weather and was limited on staff. Stan the innkeeper was wonderful....
This was a good place to stay. The room was clean and spacious. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable for our liking but we did have a great stay. The location is fantastic just steps from downtown square. Highly recommend and highly recommend the restaurant.
Booked out 3 months in advance for our 1st vacation of a long year. So excited until the day we check in , came a hour early to eat lunch there , VERY disappointed to find out the restaurant was closing at 2 not 3 on Sunday an not to return the entire time we were there for the holiday week , The only reason we booked here for the breakfast and lunch choice. Room was nice and lobby to go to our room was cozy. But disappointed about restaurant
