This is an amazing museum. My only gripe is they closed the theater right as the rain started so we missed it. We'll definitely be back for reenactments. Make sure you're have lots of insect repellent!
We didn't walk through the museum, but we visited the welcome center and talked to the girl behind the counter. She had a wealth of information at her fingertips, told us about the reenactments, and the turtle rehab center. We will definitely go back when we have more time.
A very nice surprise! Beautiful grounds, nice walk. Bring a picnic! Fun facts inside in the display. Lots of history here, not just a fort. I learned a couple new things about settlement and the wars for land ownership in the Florida area. Native American history too. Staff was very helpful. Small gift shop.
