My family and I have given Hacienda multiple chances. The food is so tasty, but it’s just not worth it. Today will definitely be the last time we ever visit. We went for my daughter’s 13th birthday. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the most awful dining experience in my 37 years on planet Earth. We waited 25 minutes to get our drinks. Our drink order was taken by 3 different employees. My daughter ordered a lemonade that tasted terrible. It was mostly water. We kindly let them know it was not drinkable and that she wanted a water instead. We were still charged the $4.50 for the lemonade. My son ordered a Mexican coke with a menu price of $4. We were charged $6. Both of my kids ordered enchiladas. One didn’t even come with enchilada sauce. My mom tried to order an a la carte burrito with sour cream on the side ($7), but was told by the manager to order the burrito supreme to save money ($16). My mom also never got her rice. We waited forever for chips and salsa. The whole dining experience was just waiting for a waiter to come back so they can fix something. It was so disappointing. Our check was $100 and the restaurant did nothing to make our experience better or even apologize. They weren’t overly busy either. We rarely go out to eat because dining out is so expensive. This was supposed to be a special treat for our family and I wish we would’ve stayed home.

Hacienda in Dawsonville is always a great experience! Julio is an excellent manager—he goes above and beyond to talk with guests and make sure everyone feels engaged and welcome. The live mariachi really sets the atmosphere; they perform every Tuesday (every other week), as well as Wednesdays and Sundays, and always bring incredible energy. The food is consistently delicious and beautifully presented, with extra care put into every detail. Definitely one of the best spots around for both food and entertainment!

This place is amazing! Always a great experience. Our dinner tonight was delicious and the manager Julio and Prisila gave my friend and I the best service and a fun night out! The food was delicious too! So fun and much easier and comfortable than other Mexican restaurants in the area!

Such a great experience here the atmosphere is great, very family oriented I highly recommend Omar for your waiter, he has so much personality and very attentive aloof with a great sense of humor, also their fried ice cream is the best I have ever had al If with the great food, we will definitely be back here !!!!!

We love this place everytime we come the food is amazing and the staff are very friendly, the manager Julio is very polite and great customer service. We will always come back also have a pretty nice decorations and paintings!

Food tastes really good but I think for the area it's pretty pricey (especially the drinks!! - $17 for a 16 oz Margarita seemed a little high). The waiter was not really into it I think. Anything we asked for seemed to be a drag for him such as bringing out water or extra salsa.

Live music but very slow service! 15 minutes to get a beer. 45 minutes more to get any food. I canceled my order after an hour. This is the third time this has happened. Three strikes. I will not be back. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants with much better service.
