5 Best Sports Bars near Dawsonville

“Taco Mac is my guilty pleasure. Is the food top notch? No but it's good. Is the service top notch? No but it's good. Is the atmosphere top notch? For me yes I love all the sports on tvs and the people watch is great. My wings were good but no great. The price is fair the server was friendly but obviously had too many tables to properly cover the groups she had. It's not that she was bad she wasn't it's more on Taco Mac to hire the proper amount or staff for a Wednesday. The restaurant wasn't packed but the staff was having to really hustle to keep everyone happy. Again I love Taco Mac and it's really good.....but not great“

“My twin brother and I celebrated our birthday tonight with our wives at this location! Abbie is a rockstar server! She very sweet, attentive, and respectful. The food is great. We've eaten here multiple times and we've never had a bad experience. Highly recommend!“

“My classic burger was amazing! Even the bun was delicious! I was surprised by how good it tasted. However my fries were not very warm and tasted stale-ish.
Unfortunately we were not greeted as we entered and it took 10 minutes before we were greeted by our waitress after sitting down. It was not crowded at all at the time.
Our waitress was very kind and attentive once she began serving us. My order was served perfectly but the person I was eating with was served an incorrect order. He didn’t notify the waitress though because he liked what they gave him anyway haha“

“Yesterday we were in Dahlonega , GA . So was everybody else . Autumn in the mountains …
The parking situation was pretty dismal around the square making it impossible to visit out usual haunts , and while cutting through the college campus to go to the other side of town we “ discovered “ a college haunt , Johnny B’s Pizza .
It had a lived in look, sprawling in an old building that was once a multi-storefront , now completely taken over by Johnny B’s.
They had a bar , several dining rooms , a patio and a screened in porch .
The pizza was Chicago thin , and pretty good . The cheese was not greasy , which means it’s good cheese, the pepperoni was a little bland , but not bad . My only complaint is I ordered extra cheese and heavy sauce and I think the server got confused and thought I said light sauce . The sauce that was there was pretty good .
We had mozzarella sticks , they were hand battered . The pizza was tasty , and the wings were voted the best in town 6 years running by the local newspaper readership - my wife confirms that they are in fact , the best around , and she is a wing -nut !
