While a bit loud & chaotic, our Chinese cuisine affectuonotos seemed happy.

The food was delicious. Proportions were great and came out pretty quickly. Service was not the best as we weren't checked up on by our server and he wasn't the most personable. I would come back again for the food though.
Update: Came back here again and the service was so bad compared to the last time I came. It’s sad because the food is great.

I recently had an outstanding dining experience at bobo garden. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a memorable evening. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure every detail of our visit was perfect.
I started with egg rolls, which was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, I ordered [Main Dish Name], cooked to perfection and paired with a balanced side that complemented the dish wonderfully. The highlight of the meal was undoubtedly the dessert, [Dessert Name], which was both decadent and light, leaving the perfect sweet finish.

The food quality was disappointing, especially the claypot rice, which tasted bad and lacked flavor. What made the experience worse was the mandatory service charge. The restaurant did not inform customers about the tip amount or percentage in advance, and it turned out to be 20% added after tax. This charge was included automatically without any explanation or transparency. Very poor dining experience — I would not recommend this place.

Tried Bobo Chinese for the first time last week and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the pepper steak, beef chow fun, and salt pepper ribs. Everything came out hot and fresh.
The pepper steak was really good, beef was tender and the vegetables had a nice crunch. The chowfun had great flavor and wasn’t greasy like some places. Those salt & pepper ribs were probably the highlight though, perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning and heat from the jalapeños.
Service was friendly and reasonably quick. Place is nothing fancy but clean and comfortable

Some of the best Chinese food in ATL! Been coming here almost 15 years. Here are some of my favorites: Black Pepper Steak (the steak pieces are so tender and flavorful, highly recommend); Salt & Pepper Tofu (oh so yummy!, crispy outside & tender inside, it converted our tofu hater); Crispy Garlic Chicken (how do they get the skin so thin & crispy?); Pork Belly; XO Egg Tofu (delicious); Roasted Duck (so fragrant); Peking Duck (if available); Steamed Whole Fish; Beef Stir Fried Noodles (order “dry”); Fish Filet; Chinese Water Spinach; House Fried Rice (great).
Plenty of free parking. May not look like anything special on the outside but inside it’s nice, clean & comfortable. Restrooms are clean. Service fast & efficient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Only one strange incident (in all my 15 yrs & none since then) w/ one somewhat older male waiter demanding his tip. I see 9 other commenters (out of hundreds) mentioning something similar. Wonder if same waiter? But majority of wait staff are super! Definitely try them out.

Bobogardenga is hands down the most authentic Cantonese restaurant I’ve found around here! The two uncles inside are incredibly kind, friendly, and professional — their warm hospitality made the whole experience feel like home.
We ordered three types of claypot rice:
• D3 Spare Ribs with XO Sause
• D5 Chinese Preserved Meat & Spare Ribs with Black Bean Sause
• D6 Chinese Preserved Meat
They kindly let us know it takes about 30 minutes to prepare since claypot rice is cooked fresh. Totally worth the wait! The rice was perfectly crispy at the bottom, flavorful, and packed with that classic wok aroma. We ate every single grain — it was that good.
We also had the C15 Lamb Brisket Hotpot (seasonal price), which was absolutely worth it. Every ingredient complemented each other beautifully, especially the bamboo shoots — so tender and full of flavor. The lamb was incredibly soft, juicy, and well-marinated.
And don’t miss the Snow Pea Leaves in Superior Broth with Century Egg and Salted Egg Yolk — rich, umami-packed, and so comforting.
This meal left me beyond satisfied. It’s the kind of food I could eat every day — comforting, delicious, and made with heart. Highly, highly recommend!

Recommended dishes: Snow Pea Leaves, Crispy Tofu with Mapo Tofu Sauce
Tried a bunch of dishes for lunch. The beef brown flat noodles and fried rice were missing flavor. The snow pea tips were lacking in aromantics. The salt and pepper squid was chewy too.
The place was neat and had quick service. It was quick to made and came hot, but water and tea refill were slow.
All good inside! Parking was hard and had to walk far. Food and service was great.
