“This restaurant was recommended to me and im glad I gave it a try. I ordered the spicy pork and the spicy rice cake. This also came with a small salad and a side of rice. The spicy pork was the perfect amount of spice if you like and eat spicy food often, uf you dont the kick might be a little much for you. It also had a great sauce to meat ratio giving it a great flavor. I had never had spicy rice cakes before, but wow they were delicious. The firm texture almost makes your forget that it's rice and the sauce was a great compliment to the dish. I will be stopping by big sisters kitchen again!“

“I enjoyed this restaurant. I went for lunch and while I paid $3 for hot water and a teabag, the bibimbap box was $15 and came with three small sides, a soup, and a salad. Korean food is delicious, but I've definitely had it just as good for cheaper at other places. Service was fantastic and I'll definitely be back to try more.
Definitely not ordering hot tea next time“

“First time at this location and my server James was an excellent server (highly recommended server). The sauce, the food, the explanation, the cooking and overall atmosphere was beyond my expectations. I went with the BBQ option and James did an excellent job explaining the options and preparing the food. Only because of James am I happy with my experience. Will return and request James!“

“Cameron is the BOMB!!!! The meat was delicious and although there aren't a bunch of side options they are still good. The meat is really what you come for and everyone is super nice but, Cameron's customer service is top tier for sure! I definitely recommend!“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

“"I was darting down the city streets, desperately trying to shake off the guys tailing me. My luck was running out when I spotted a little place glowing in the night, the sign reading ‘CM Korean Fried Chicken & Ssong’s Hot Dog.’ With no better options, I ducked inside, the scent of sizzling chicken and fresh hot dogs filling the air.
That’s when I met Bill Yu. Not your typical action hero—Bill was a skinny 14-year-old kid with a mop of black hair and the kind of sharp eyes that could size up your whole life story in one look. ‘You look like you’re in trouble,’ he said, handing me a basket of steaming, crispy fried chicken. ‘Sit down, eat. I’ll take care of it.’
The chicken was an epiphany. Golden-brown perfection with a shatteringly crisp crust, glazed in a sauce that was sweet, spicy, and so addictive it might have been illegal. As I bit into a Ssong’s hot dog, blanketed in gooey mozzarella and dusted with sugar, I almost forgot about the danger outside.
Almost. Because soon enough, the door burst open and three bulky men barged in. ‘We know you’re in here,’ one of them snarled. Before I could even panic, Bill leaped into action. He slid across the counter, grabbed a pair of tongs, and wielded them like a samurai with a katana. With swift, precise movements, he flipped a hot dog straight into one guy's face, then swung a cast-iron skillet with a strength that seemed impossible for a kid his size.
The last thug looked at Bill, then at me, then at the fried chicken. ‘Yeah, no,’ he muttered and ran.
Bill casually picked up the fallen hot dog, dusted it off, and handed it back to me. ‘Sorry about the mess,’ he said, ‘but I don’t let anyone mess with my customers.’ He slid me a to-go bag filled with chicken wings and gave a quick nod. ‘Now get outta here before I have to do something crazy, like add extra sauce.’
The food was pure magic, but I’ll never forget the night a 14-year-old saved my life using nothing but his culinary skills and a fearless attitude."“

“After patronizing this wonderful restaurant for over 15 years it’s time to let my secret out. I lived in Korea for a year and haven’t experienced this level of authentic Korean freshness and hospitality since. The owner makes all the vegetable dishes she serves you herself…yes, she will be serving you personally. That includes the Kimchee and Doenjang (fermented soybean paste). The latter takes her 2 years to make!! I love the food and the warm service here so much that I have added this restaurant to my advanced directive…it’s my requested last meal, should I be so lucky. :-). Once you've eaten here you will understand why her walls are covered with "Best of Atlanta' awards dating back two decades.
Vegetarian options: The wonderful vegetable side dishes (Banchan) are the best part of eating here. And she is always creating something new and exciting.
Parking: Lots of free parking. :-)“
