My wife and I have been regulars at Ten Second Rice Noodle for one reason: the food. The rice noodles here are hands down some of the best we’ve had—flavorful, satisfying, and consistently served hot and fast. If this review were based solely on the food, it would easily be five stars.

Unfortunately, the service is a completely different story. From the moment we walk in, we’re not greeted—they just glance at us and point us to a table. No smile, no welcome, not even basic courtesy. When we place our order, there’s no “thank you” or acknowledgment. The attitude is cold, and the staff often seem annoyed and over it, especially the woman in the photo posted—she’s by far the most dismissive and unfriendly.

One incident that really crossed the line was when my wife accidentally spilled hot noodles on herself and suffered a painful burn that required medical treatment. Instead of showing any concern or helping, they just handed us extra napkins and carried on like nothing happened. It was incredibly upsetting how little they cared.

We always feel uneasy when it’s time to tip because the service frankly doesn’t deserve one. Still, we leave the bare minimum out of habit—and are met with glares in return.

We continue to come back for the food, but once a better rice noodle spot opens up in town, we won’t hesitate to take our business elsewhere. Great food can only make up for so much when the experience around it is this unpleasant.

Amazing deal for the quantity and breadth of food you get, especially with the lunch combo. Not to mention, our food came out super quickly. My favorite had to be the spicy beef option, which featured a savory hot broth with numbing spices.

We had a great experience at Ten Second Rice Noodle! The service was incredibly fast and friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. We tried the kimchi broth noodles—they were decent, with a good balance of flavor. The stone bowl presentation was a nice touch, keeping the broth hot throughout the meal. We also appreciated the mini side dishes that complemented the hotpot-style setup.

Great place to eat with respectable prices, food was amazing and so was the service.

Amazing food, kind and quick service, amazing atmosphere overall. Definitely recommend and definitely will come again!

A Disappointing Two-Time Experience

The first time I went to this establishment was January 27, 2025. I’ve given this restaurant two chances during my lunch breaks, and both times, they failed to deliver the meal I requested.
The first time, being new to the menu, I asked the waitress for guidance. I ordered a specific dish that was naturally very spicy and requested it at a medium spice level. She assured me that was possible. Since it took most of my lunch break to prepare, I trusted her word and left with my food. Back at the office, my first bite was *flaming hot*—far from medium spice. I could barely eat two bites before giving up. Clearly, there was a miscommunication between the waitress and the cook.
Despite that bad experience, I decided to give them a second chance today, February 7, 2025. I ordered the same dish again, but this time, I reminded the waitress (the same one from before) that it had been way too spicy last time. Her response? *Oh, that dish is spicy.* Instead of adjusting the spice level, she pointed out another dish, claiming it was exactly like the one I originally wanted. Trusting her expertise, I went with her recommendation.
When I got back to the office and opened my meal, it wasn’t spicy at all—*but it also wasn’t the dish I wanted.* It was completely different. Rather than call and make a fuss, I’m writing this review instead.
Bottom line: I won’t be eating here again. The waitress doesn’t give accurate recommendations, and the kitchen can’t follow special requests. I wasted $21 *twice* on meals I couldn’t eat. If you want your food made correctly and expect good service, **this is not the place for you.** Buyer beware.

The food was amazing, super authentic. I had the mushroom soup, and it was super fresh and tasty. The only issue was with the staff—they weren’t really respecting customers the way they should. For example, there was no spice on our table, so I asked for some, and they told me to go grab the whole jar myself, which I did. Then 10 minutes later, they came over and said I couldn’t keep it because it was for the whole restaurant—one jar for 20 tables, which was pretty strange. They also just threw the check on the table, which felt really off. I think the manager might need to work on staff training.

Brand new, sparkling clean place with modern decor. My favorite is the pork soup with sliced beef and the spring rolls. It's yummy and savory. The soup comes out boiling hot and they provide all of the add-ins, the beef which cooks in the broth and of course the noodles.

The servers are attentive, friendly and kind. They work together to wait on each table and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll be eating here a lot.

This restaurant is one of the best dining experiences I have had. The staff is fabulous and extremely helpful. My daughter is gluten free and they took the time to investigate ingredient lists on their products so she can eat safely. Everything was delicious! I will be back and I highly recommend this hot pot restaurant. Murfreesboro is blessed to have such a wonderful new restaurant.

Noodles! Golden noodle soup!
I don’t know anything else, but I just know that golden noodle soup is delicious! Every time I finish the soup. I must go once a month! Hot and sour!
